Abel Gomez has been an active part of the Coastal Bend area since 2003. His professionalism, dedication to customer service and keen eye for details make him an ideal choice for homeowners looking for the right painting contractor for their home.
Abel has a family history of military service and he followed suit by proudly serving our country for seven and one-half years in the United States Air Force.
In his spare time, he loves working out, playing soccer, going to the beach, being involved in his church and most of all, hanging out with his beautiful wife, Maisie, and their three children.
Residing in the Houston area for over 30 years, Alan cherishes life with his two children, Brayden and Brooklyn, and his wife, Brittney, whom he married in 2011. A University of North Texas alum, Alan graduated in 2008 and has since accumulated 19 years of service industry experience. His career later pivoted to the construction sector, where he's made his mark in installations and home makeovers with firms like Sears, Power, and Expo. Integrity and honesty are the bedrock values of his work ethic. Deeply spiritual, Alan attributes his successes to his faith and considers it a foundational aspect of his life. Dedicated to his community and faith, Alan is passionate about contributing positively to the Spring/Cypress area and its residents.

Brandon joined Southern Painting in 2007 and is the owner/operator of the San Antonio West office. He was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, and is a Veteran of the United States Navy having served aboard the USS Theodore Roosevelt.
Brandon began his career with Southern Painting in sales, and quickly capitalized on the opportunity to become proficient in the business, especially as customers let him know how much he had become a trusted resource for their home improvement projects.
He finds a great deal of satisfaction in meeting with each customer, and works hard to provide everyone with a pleasant and positive experience. Brandon applies his years of experience to each and every job, and treats every homeowner with honesty and integrity, "Every job, every time!"

Brantson Wilcox joined Southern Painting in 2017 filling the position of Project Manager. Born in Fort Collins, Colorado, he moved to Plano when he was four years old. A graduate from Centennial High School in Frisco, Brantson now studies Computer Aided Design at Collin County Community College. One of his favorite pastimes involves producing music, but his love and care for animals holds a special place in his heart.
Brantson has set his eyes on one day returning to Colorado, but when he does, he believes it will be as an owner of a Southern Painting Franchise!
Candice Dean have a passion for helping people in all aspects of life and seeing others grow physically, spiritually, and mentally to become the happiest version of themselves. Helping customers in their home and creating a true customer service experience is the main reason the Deans have come to love working with Southern Painting.
Candice Dean have been happily married since 2006; they have one son and two dogs (a pug and a boxer). They have called Benbrook their home for six years and currently serve as Men's and Women's Ministry Coordinators at their church. Bill served in the U.S. Air Force as an Air Traffic Controller for four years, after which he met Candice and they started their family. Candice graduated from Texas Wesleyan University with a degree in psychology, and currently runs a fitness studio in Benbrook that the couple has owned since 2018. They have a passion for helping people in all aspects of life and seeing others grow physically, spiritually, and mentally to become the happiest version of themselves. Helping customers in their home and creating a true customer service experience is the main reason the Deans have come to love working with Southern Painting. Building relationships that go beyond a simple transaction is a key component to their excellent customer service.

Charlie's background as an educator, and as a local business owner, have made him quite well known in the Katy and West Houston areas. Charlie has a BS degree and master's degree from the University of Houston. Charlie has also mastered giving extremely detailed and accurate estimates with an outstanding ability to provide our customers with excellent results on their interior and exterior painting projects.
Charlie has three children and four grandchildren. We are proud to have Charlie as a member of the Southern Painting Katy team.
Chris has lived in Arlington for over 20 years and recently celebrated his 25th year of marriage. He and his wife have two sons and a daughter. A graduate of Austin College in 1988, he then graduated from UT-Arlington with a Master's Degree in Business Administration in 1999. In his spare time, Chris enjoys competing in area cycling events, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his family.
In 2012, Chris joined Southern Painting as the Manager of the Marketing and Operational activities of the Arlington Territory. As a Territory Manager now, Chris' commitment to outstanding customer service and life-long learning keeps him up to date on the latest styles and painting products available for your home.
Christian is a key member of our Southern Painting team. Previously a foreman for over three years, Christian enjoys helping homeowners achieve their home improvement goals.
As a strong family man, Christian knows the importance of reliability, communication, and integrity from start to finish. He prides himself in going the extra mile to create very satisfied customers.
Christian's hobbies include traveling, soccer, and spending time with his daughter, Jewel. Christian always has a smile on his face and strives to ensure a smooth and comfortable working relationship throughout the painting process.

Dave MacMeeken is the Owner/Operator of Southern Painting in Frisco, Prosper, and Celina. He joined Southern Painting in 2000 and has been instrumental in the growth of the company while working alongside his brother and owner, Steve, and building an unsurpassed business reputation in Collin County.
Dave's years of experience, knowledge of products, and attention to customer service have been contributing factors in making their Southern Painting business the largest family-owned residential repaint company in the Dallas area.
As a long-time resident, Dave has seen the phenomenal residential growth in Collin County and has mentally catalogued the details of the home builders in many of the areas he services. So, whether you are the original owner or a new owner, his knowledge of history is no trivial matter when helping many homeowners feel secure in their decision to work with someone familiar with their neighbors and neighborhoods.
Dave spends his spare time riding motorcycles, indulging his love of vintage motorcycles, hand guns, and target shooting.
David Dozier joined the Southern Painting family four years ago and takes a great deal of pride in delivering the very best painting experience possible to his customers. David provides attention to detail and continuous oversight throughout the painting process.
A life-long resident of Arlington, David graduated from UTA in 2001 with a BBA in business management. He and his wife, Lee Anne, have three sons, and in his spare time, David coaches the boys' soccer teams.

Jacqueline Heaney is an interior design aficionado and zealous real estate professional who shares an incredible passion for the art of serving the community. Based in Dallas, she presently resides in Frisco, and co-owns/operates the Carrolton/Farmers Branch of Southern Painting. Having a strong consumer banking background, Jacqueline has efficaciously managed and operated as an independent realtor for Texas Property Brokers for the past six years. Kent earned his Bachelor of Science degree in business administration from GCSU in Milledgeville, Georgia in 2004. He has more than 15 years of residential construction, home warranty, residential/small commercial painting, and customer service experience.

Lana, with her husband, Rob, is co-owner/operator of the Southern Painting Austin North territory. She works in the office to ensure all daily operations run as smoothly as possible. However, Lana really shines when she's working with customers to ensure their needs are not only met, but exceeded.
Lana Ellis manages the business operations in the Southern Painting Austin office. Though she wears many hats, her most important role is providing customer service, with solutions, to ensure our customers are delighted with their painting experience.
Lana and her husband, Rob, are natives of Oklahoma but have lived in Texas for over 28 years. She enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her family.
Luis Mendoza has an enthusiasm for making your painting experience a memorable one.

Hi! I'm Mark Collins, the Founder of the Southern Painting Family. Welcome to our website!
I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1980 and entered the real estate and building business. My wife, Vicki, and I are the proud parents of two daughters and several grandchildren, and we have lived in the Austin area for over 20 years.
Mark is a Territory Manager for the Austin North franchise. He works closely with customers, from the estimate to the final walk-through, to ensure their painting project runs smoothly, and the quality of work exceeds their expectations. His focus on customer service is evident in his moto: "The job isn't done until the customer is happy."
Mark is a graduate of Concordia University with a degree in Business Management. Prior to joining Southern Painting, he was self-employed in the sales industry for 25 years. Mark and his wife are long- time residents of Round Rock, Texas. They have three wonderful children and their favorite hobby is traveling.
Noah brings six years of experience in customer service and job management to Southern Painting. Noah enjoys exercising and tuning automobiles in his personal time, as well as playing sports. He practices self-discipline in his personal endeavors, with attention to detail and thorough follow-through, and he carries these qualities into his professional life. For 15 years Rich honed his customer service and business management skills as a small business owner. In addition, he worked with PPG Pittsburgh Paints® for two years prior to joining Southern Painting. Rich has a keen sense of the need for unparalleled service in a competitive industry, and it is the primary motivation behind his work ethic.
Rich is originally from the Pacific Northwest; Seattle, Bellingham, and Ketchikan, Alaska are a few places he called home before he graduated high school in Tigard, Oregon and then relocated to Texas in 2001.
When not working, Rich enjoys spending time with his daughter. On the weekends, he enjoys playing soccer and sand volleyball. Rich is also an avid Tough Mudder and Spartan Adventure Race competitor.

As a native of Florida, Rick grew up in Seminole where he was a celebrated wrestling champion in high school. Rob Ellis joined Southern Painting as a commissioned salesman in 2001 and quickly earned the position as owner/operator of the Austin division. Under Rob's supervision, the Austin territory has become known as a leader in the industry, setting standards in workmanship and customer service.
Rob married his wife, Lana, in 1985 and credits her for his ability to achieve his noted success and for the confidence to own a business. Rob acknowledges his education for understanding finances and the aptitude to operate a business.
Rob has been instrumental in forming and developing other businesses, and currently provides consulting to several companies across the state. Rob is dedicated to service and endeavors to exceed industry standards in satisfying customers

Scott Gross is the owner/operator of the Amarillo regional office of Southern Painting located in the Texas Panhandle. Scott graduated from Texas Tech University in 1984 with a degree in Landscape Architecture and moved to Amarillo to work for a builder's supply company. He has since established Southern Painting as one of the most successful painting companies in the Texas Panhandle.
"The growth that I have personally experienced, through owning a Southern Painting franchise, has been life changing. It has allowed me the freedom to pursue goals and dreams that I did not think were possible. I wake up every day feeling blessed to be a part of Southern Painting."
Scott was born in Big Spring, Texas in April of 1960. Shortly thereafter, his family moved to Austin where his father started his own plumbing company. They lived in Austin for 16 years before moving back to Big Spring.
"My dad ran a successful plumbing company, and I was soon introduced to the family business. I started at the bottom of the ladder and, as I learned the profession, was given more responsibility. It gave me a firm understanding of what it means to work hard and take pride in your work."
Scott is married to his beautiful wife, Deborah, and has two children, Tyler and Tanner. His pets include a Border-Collie named Buffy and a cat named Simon. Scott strives to be an active part of the community and is currently a proud member of the Better Business Bureau and the Texas Panhandle Builders Association.

With a background in electronics, Scott recognizes the value of precise planning, coordination, and most importantly, timely communication. These are the basic components found in every Southern Painting project! Add to that Scott's unwavering commitment to providing you with the best painting experience possible, and you have a great recipe for success.
In the past, Scott was active in Colorado as a line officer, rescue chief, and EMT for the volunteer fire department. He also served as a Justice of the Peace and firearms safety instructor, and he looks forward to becoming active in our community. In his leisure time, Scott enjoys riding his motorcycle and tinkering with old audio equipment.

Steve MacMeeken owns/operates the Plano/Allen/Murphy and North Dallas/Richardson Southern Painting franchises, and recently expanded his Southern Painting role as the Area Director for the Tampa/Hillsborough North area of Florida.
With more than 25 years of hands-on experience as a tradesman, Steve joined Southern Painting in 1993 and, by 2000, owned one of the first Southern Painting offices in Texas. Working alongside his brother, Rick, Steve plans on employing his proven methods of business success to help launch Southern Painting into the Florida market.
As a franchise owner, Steve knows that Southern Painting's success depends upon integrity and customer service, which he has made the cornerstones of his business model. Steve has worked diligently to develop his business become the largest residential repaint office for Southern Painting in the DFW area.
Steve moved to Collin County in 1981 and, before long, met and married Robyn and started their family. He has spent his life creating business opportunities for many people, but most importantly, created an environment that has allowed his two sons and two of his brothers to join the family of Southern Painting. As a true, family-operated business, Steve takes immense pride in serving his customers while continuing to successfully brand the Southern Painting family.
Terrence Heaney specializes in working with customers and the painters to ensure an excellent painting experience for all involved. Mr. Heaney has a background in customer service, outstanding communication skills and, most importantly, a keen eye for the details of the overall painting process. Mr. Heaney is very systematic and uses the Southern Painting System from the beginning to the end of each painting experience.
Mr. Heaney is a well-respected Marine and completed two tours of duty in Iraq. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Phoenix and is currently working on his master's degree. Thomas Windham is proud to be the owner of Southern Painting in Katy, TX. Thomas is a painting contractor with a background in art and design. He spent many years as a consultant in the housing industry as well as gaining hands-on experience in various facets of home remodeling. He has experience in completing interior and exterior painting services for commercial and residential properties.
Thomas and his wife, Lauren, live in Katy with their two children and are involved in the local church and community. Thomas is ready to help you tackle your home improvement project inside and out with the integrity and skill that Southern Painting has been known for since 1989.
Tim Durant highly values reliability and customer service. He has over 15 years of professional painting and paint management experience. Mr. Durant is a United States Army Veteran and, while serving as a Military Policeman, he achieved the rank of Sergeant. He studied at Ashford University and is currently working toward a bachelor's degree in organizational management.
Customers appreciate that he brings integrity, energy, and hard work to every aspect of the projects in which he is involved. Mr. Durant is also a family man who has been married for 28 years. His wife, Dorine, is a pharmacy manager. They have two grown sons, Bill and Clayton, who are both married and working successfully in the healthcare industry. Mr. and Mrs. Durant are active in their church and involved in several charitable efforts that support children. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, reading, and spending time with his family.
Tim Kelly is the owner of the Southern Painting regional office that serves Arlington, Mansfield, Burleson, Crowley, Dalworthington Gardens, Pantego, Grand Prairie, Duncanville, Desoto, Cedar Hill, Ovilla, Red Oak, Midlothian and Waxahachie.
Tim says the key to building one of the most successful painting companies in Texas is not only meeting, but also exceeding the customer's expectations. "Even though we have painted more than 100,000 homes and have been in business since 1989, the key to our success is systematically meeting our commitments each and every day."
After being a Southern Painting customer for 20 years, Tim joined our team as a Territory Manager in our Austin Central office. He was always impressed with the high level of service he received, and has used that experience to keep the momentum going with his customers. Tim knows that using premium products, along with the best application processes, are the norm at Southern Painting, and that's what keeps customers coming back.
Tim and his wife, Annette, have been married for 32 years. They have proudly raised three daughters and a son, all of whom are heading into professional careers of their own. In his spare time, Tim enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family at the lake.
Born in El Salvador, Victor has been working in the remodeling and painting business since 2011. He has built a solid reputation with Southern Painting managing crews for over a decade and has made the natural transition to becoming the Operations Manager for the Frisco, Prosper, and Celina territory. Victor keeps his customer service to the simplest of goals, often quoted as saying, "Just be sure the customer feels good after we paint their home!"
When not working to make your home look just the way you want it, Victor spends his spare time making memories with his wife and two sons. Family and music fill his hours with a great deal of joy, which has been the motivation that served as the building blocks of his excellent reputation.

Yoni has been a part of the Southern Painting family since 1998. His father, who has been a Foreman for Southern Painting since 1992, introduced Yoni to the painting industry. As a second-generation painter, Yoni has gained extensive knowledge about quality products and proper painting procedures. Now, as the owner/operator of the San Antonio East Division, Yoni uses this knowledge and experience to ensure every customer is satisfied with their Southern Painting experience.
Yoni has been happily married to his wife for over nine years. They have three beautiful daughters and are also active in different activities at their church.
