Lydia Tavares

Lydia had a passion for everything to do with homes from a young age. She started with visiting home design shows with her mother who had a flair for interior design and loved to look at various homes. Working for the city of Lynn on the north shore of Massachusetts from the young age of 14 during summers, to holding 2 jobs throughout high school, her incredible work ethic began at a young age. As a young adult, Lydia became more interested in following the real estate market and at the young age of 26 purchased her first home, a two-family that required a complete renovation down to the studs. Later she turned that 2 family home into condominiums, doubling the profit she made when selling as two condos instead of a two-family. From then on her passion for real estate investing was fueled and she continued investing in properties over the years. Where to even start! Marc is simply awesome, amazing, incredible! We had a very no pressure experience. Everything was 100% positive and we would recommend Marc to all of our friends. As we got started with our search, Marc would thoughtfully check in to see how the houses we looked at stacked up and answer questions about the process. He helped ensure some calm when the first offer didn't get accepted. Then came the house where I'm writing this from now. Standing on my deck and looking out into the deep greenery; I find my thinking back to a late Friday afternoon in late May. The sellers were waffling after some storytelling it became clear they wanted an exit. We would later all agree that some hefty offer likely came in late. Marc was never late, and so that Friday he arrived outside our old apartment, as he said he would. He was intent on taking our deposit and physically ensuring it's delivery to the sellers agent in Nashua, NH -during the middle of rush hour traffic. I think about the wild numbers over asking we later saw houses closing at and the horror stories friend have told us. It makes me very grateful to Marc and the way he went above and beyond for us.
