To cope with Korean Government's new defense enforcement policy started with "Yul-Gok" plan, "SM Engineering Corporation(SME)" was established in 1986 as an independent firm derived from a part of "Sama Trading Corporation" established in 1969, for the purpose of more enhanced and specialized sales and services to those particular markets of Telecommunication, Aerospace & Satellite Communication, Naval/Navigational Systems, Defense systems and Electronic warfare... For its supplied equipments in this market, SME also provides engineering services such as Installation Supervision, Maintenance and After Sales Support, operating its own service station in Busan, Korea.
