Sarnia Lambton Workforce Development Board (SLWDB) is a community-directed, not-for-profit corporation leading Sarnia Lambton in its approach to workforce development and labour market planning... Operating as part of Workforce Planning Ontario, we are one of 26 local planning board areas mandated by the Government of Ontario to conduct and disseminate local labour market research and engage community stakeholders in a planning process that supports local solutions to local issues... SLWDB, formerly known as the Sarnia Lambton Training Board, was incorporated as a not-for-profit organization on November 5, 1997. At the time of incorporation, the Board was jointly funded by the Government of Ontario and the Government of Canada.
