Jan-Maarten Deelen

Jan-Maarten has man decades of experience working as a Consultant and a Senior Project Manager in technology and organisational disciplines. He has delivered on a wide variety of projects, such as infrastructure conversions, application implementations and service management implementations for a wide range of business sectors such as Telecoms, Financial Services, Hi-Tech and Transport. Jan-Maarten has been active in ensuring the effective transfer of technology knowledge and has a deep experience of international delivery in Europe and globally. He has furthermore founded and ran a technology company delivering technology services and solutions.

Joseph Murphy

Joe earned his Ph.D in Biochemistry and is an internationally accomplished research scientist. His professional experience includes research and teaching positions at leading European and American institutions, including the Pasteur Institute and Stanford University. He has held senior positions in Biotechnology companies, spanning from anti-oxidant pharmaceuticals and data mining to cancer therapeutics. He has special interest in cancer therapeutics among others and is a full-time researcher.

Martin is the founder and CEO of Softonomy. He has been in business since 1988, having gained an academic grounding in Software and Technology with an M.Sc. Martin has worked in such areas as Software Development, IT Management, IT Consultancy, Business Projects and Management Consultancy, leading technologists to deliver to business needs and guiding business managers to exploit the capabilities of software and technology. With his entrepreneurial drive he has developed and managed several business units, both within blue-chips such as Fujitsu-ICL, Ericsson, Ernst & Young and IBM, and start-ups such as First-e/Factor-e, Softonomy, having conceived viable business and strategy plans and executed against them. Martin has been responsible for developing and selling services and business solutions and has experience across a diversity of sectors such as Telecoms, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Hi-Tech and others. He has extensive international experience and has been an active leader on several company management teams.

Michael Meaney

Mike graduated with a B.Eng. in Electronics from the University of Limerick in 1987. He has worked exclusively in the software industry for several decades and his international experience as a senior software engineer has crossed numerous industries such as Telecoms, Finance, Medical, E-Learning, Cable and Web Commerce, and Cloud. His expertise in technologies is similarly wide ranging and includes web services, database design, embedded systems and middleware among others. For example, he designed software for a leading-edge IP network bandwidth measurement product used by Cisco.

Rob van Zuilen

Rob is educated as a Professional Purchasing Manager and has over 30 years experience in purchasing roles that have included the Chemical, Refrigeration and Telecom industries, among others. He is an experienced Senior Purchasing Manager with assignments in the Distribution and Pharmaceutical sectors. Rob has deep experience in complex sourcing projects for integrated ICT solutions with OEM and Development aspects. He has been involved in complex large-scale multi-national corporate negotiations for sourcing business software on a global asis and has championed the establishment of cross-functional and international collaborations.

Ronan McCaughey

Ronan has worked in software development in the Telecoms sector since 1988 following graduation with an M.Sc from Queens University in Belfast. He has a particular interest in database technologies and has worked extensively in designing and developing database access via internet access methods. He has been involved in integrating third-party billing systems into Telecoms environments and is a senior manager.
