Dr. Hannah Grumbling

Dr. Hannah Grumbling is from Gold Canyon, AZ, and in 2023 she earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University. Her professional interests include large animal medicine, CPR methods for small and large animal patients, and herd health management. She takes pride in her relationships with her furry patients and their families. Dr. Grumbling loves all animals and people! Outside of her veterinary work, she enjoys studying different languages, reading, making crafts, and spending time outdoors. A fun fact about Dr. Grumbling: She hopes to one-day practice veterinary medicine in developing countries where it can be used as a tool to break poverty cycles and improve human health. Her beloved pets include 2 guinea pigs named Poppy & Petunia, a mother-daughter pair!

Dr. Jennifer Clark

Dr. Jennifer Clark earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She loves performing surgery on all animals and has a special interest in farm animals. She takes pride in giving all her patients the best care and treating every animal like they're her own. Outside of her veterinary work, she enjoys spending time outside with her dogs and watching football. A fun fact about Dr. Clark: She did a farm animal internship working with lots of goats and camelids. Her beloved pets include two island dogs, Max and Zero, and her aussie Cutter!

Dr. Jessica Serafine

Dr. Serafine was born and raised in Southern California. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine on the island of St. Kitts for vet school and her clinical year at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana. She spent her first 3 years of practice at a mixed animal rural clinic in Haskell, Texas before moving to South Texas to join the STVC team in 2019. She has a special interest in dentistry and is a member of both the Texas Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Serafine and her husband are currently living nearby in a house they renovated together. On their off time, they enjoy shooting bows, pistols, and rifles as well as hanging out with their three dogs, Blue, Tai, and Trip.

Dr. Larry Moczygemba

Larry is a San Antonio native, and graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He settled in Beeville in 1988, enjoying its proximity to his family ranch, coastal fishing, and the benefits of being close to San Antonio and Houston. He obtained a master's degree in beef cattle production medicine/epidemiology from the University of Nebraska in 2000, and is currently a member of the Academy of Veterinary Consultants (past president), Texas Veterinary Medical Association, and the American Veterinary Medical Association. Larry established South Texas Veterinary Clinic in 1988 with the goal of providing quality medicine in a rural areas for all species. He enjoys the variety of practice offered in a small town setting including medicine and surgery for large and small animals as well as herd work. Larry and his wife, Jane, have worked together at South Texas Vet Clinic for over 30 years and enjoy the relationships they have established with their clients and staff over the years. When not at work Larry enjoys fishing, hunting, working with his own cattle, and spending time with his family and three grandchildren.

Dr. Rachel Johnson

Dr. Rachel Johnson earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University Grenada. She specializes in advanced equine lameness, equine reproduction, orthopedic surgery, and small ruminant general practice. She takes pride in advocating for her patients above all else, committed to her patients always coming first. Outside of her veterinary work, she enjoys spending time at the beach with her fiancé David and 5-month-old Maeve, hiking with her dogs, trying new restaurants, and sunset bike rides. Her beloved pets include two dogs, Teddy an 11-year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and Tout a 4-year-old Grenadian Pothound.

Small Animal

Job Titles:

Gina has been a part of the STVC team for 4 years. She is from Refugio, Texas, and has continued her education in nursing at Del Mar College. She particularly likes to care for animals while hospitalized at the clinic during treatment or following surgery. In her free time, Gina enjoys roller skating and reading. Margaret is a graduate of SulRoss State University and has been working at South Texas Vet Clinic since 2020. She loves working beside the doctors in helping to bring people's pets back to health whether it's through surgery or time and medicine. While in West Texas Margaret spent time as a hunting guide and she continues to enjoy the outdoors hiking, camping, or hunting & fishing. Juliana has been part of our team for one year. She is a graduate of Goliad High School and worked with show animals throughout her school years. She is currently enrolled and working toward her Veterinary Technician License. Juliana prides herself on making sure that all her patients are taken care of and trying to provide them with the best environment possible so they can be happy and healthy. When not working, she likes helping and teaching kids with show animals and spending time with her family and friends. Tracey is from Benavides, Texas, and worked at South Texas Vet Clinic since 2019. She is currently working on her Veterinary Technician License through Penn Foster. To quote Tracey, "When it comes to veterinary medicine, I love every aspect of what I do! I take pride in treating every patient under my care as if they were my own personal animal." During her free time, Tracey enjoys roller skating, bowling, reading, and spending time with friends and family.
