Somon Air is the national air carrier of Tajikistan, which has been successfully operating on the international market since 2008 and is the only airline in the country that joined the IATA (International Air Transport Association)... Somon Air operated its first flight in February 2008 on the Dushanbe-Moscow route on Boeing 737-800 aircraft... In July 2019, Somon Air became an official participant of the MITA (Multilateral Interline Traffic Agreements) for cargo transportation.
