One of Spark Designs most accomplished web developers, Alan has more than 13 years experience in the web world and offers valuable insight and innovation to each project.
Alan is not just a great web developer and animator but can design and program just about anything. Alan has what it takes to make great websites that work.
Having an eye for design and style is a tough trait to find, but Kaitlyn seems to have proven she has what it takes to be part of the Spark Design team, allowing her to tap into uniquely fresh artistic abilities.
Another local through and through, Kaitlyn was scooped-up by Spark Design after approaching them about her passion for graphic design. It didn't take long for her to become an integral part of team.
Not only does Kaitlyn have a flare for graphic design, she's also an accomplished visual artist creating everything from murals to tattoos.
Although she has aspirations to one day live in a larger city, for now Kaitlyn's enjoying life in the Bulkley Valley on her new family farm just outside Smithers where she has plenty of space to snowmobile, quad, and hike to the river.
If Kaitlyn couldn't live in Smithers you'd probably find her in Bora Bora in a little hut on the beach where she could swim in the ocean everyday. No need for the harsh realities of a northwest winter, Kaitlyn is happy to curl up with her cat and create another fine website design.
Sean brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as the lead of the Spark Design team in a number of different areas including marketing, film, graphic design, web development, and project management.
After moving to Smithers in 2003, Sean began to develop a web company dedicated to design and marketing personally tailored for every clients needs. In 2011, Sean purchased Spark Design to bring it into the 21st century.
When Sean isn't carving up the slopes in deep powder, he devotes his time to producing some of the most fascinating marketing strategies to help clients elevate their projects, creating a brand that is as unique as the people he works with.
When he's not digging out of the powder or building a new website, Sean spends his time with family fishing, hiking and drawing extraordinary scenes that stretch the imagination.
His community involvement over the years has spread across the Bulkley Valley as an active member of the BV Kinsmen, Director of the Bulkley Valley Community Foundation, Smithers Celebrity Golf Committee member, and played a pivotal role in the construction of the Telkwa Centennial Stage and the Smithers Bovill Square.
Spark Design's team not only incorporates local talent but also transcends the boarders of BC employing talents such as Sean Smith. Born and raised in Winnipeg, Sean lived for 14 years in South Korea before relocating and is now based in Toronto.
With a Masters in Applied Linguistics, Sean brings ‘mad' front-end developer experience and skills with proficiency in Expression Engine to the Spark Design team.
Sean was invited to work with Spark Design on a temporary basis and never left. He thrives on projects that tap into his imagination and allows him to push the boundaries of his skills and incorporate new ideas and techniques.
In his off time Sean is an avid photographer and hopes one day he'll realize his dream of travelling to Egypt to photograph the Pyramids and experience the birthplace of coffee, Ethiopia.
Terry has a long and successful history with Spark Design as an innovative developer staying on top of all things technological. Terry specializes in interactive CMS-based web technologies. He incorporates animations and other slick widgets that engage users and keep them coming back.
When not hard at work creating custom websites, Terry can be found on the mountain tops of not just the BC coastal mountains but around the world. His passion for racing is indisputable.
