SOUTHERN STATES MILLWRIGHT REGIONAL COUNCIL

We cover 11 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas. Our council was established in response to growing needs in Southern facilities such as refineries, paper mills, energy and automotive plants, and more for experienced, safety-conscious millwrights to work primarily with machinery and equipment requiring precision. We have a sharp eye for the perfect fit, even down to specifications requiring tolerances of a thousandth of an inch. We install, maintain, diagnose, and repair equipment such as compressors, pumps, conveyors, gas and steam turbines, monorails, and extruders. We're also experts in skills such as rigging, welding, and, of course, safety... Our standard work products are precision and productivity. Our goal is to keep our employers and their jobsites supplied with the best-trained, most highly qualified millwrights in the industry. We are committed to meeting that goal every day.....
