  • Project Coordinator
Leveraging her background in art and architecture, Vickie brings a collaborative nature and a detail-oriented approach to her work as a Project Coordinator at Spearhead. She strongly believes in integrated design processes, where craft and innovation are merged to creatively solve design challenges. After completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Vickie traveled abroad to work in hot glass, collaborating with artists and craftspeople from various disciplines, including wood, metals, and ceramics. Her curiosities and dedication to design led her to explore the broader context of craft-the built environment. This exploration inspired her to return to Canada, where she earned her Master of Architecture from the University of Calgary. Subsequently, she worked in Alberta as a project architect on a variety of projects encompassing small-scale commercial, mixed-use, and residential before relocating to the Kootenays with her family. In her free time, Vickie enjoys hiking the mountains with her family, snowboarding, and engaging in hands-on creative pursuits.
