STROUD LABOUR

5a Lansdown, Stroud, UK
The Stroud area has a radical tradition stretching back hundreds of years, and over the last 25 years, Stroud has been well represented by Labour in Westminster. David Drew won the seat for us at the 1997 general election and was re-elected three times (with a couple of gaps) through to 2017. In the 2019 election, we lost the seat by fewer than 4,000 votes. Stroud is now a key marginal seat for the party nationally.
