Anthony K. Mitchell

Anthony Mitchell is a member of SRC's board of Trustees. He is also a member of the SRC International Board of Directors. He is the former Executive Vice President, Defense and Intelligence Group at Booz Allen Hamilton. Mitchell began his career at Booz Allen Hamilton in 1997 as principal of the communications media and technology practice. In his career at Booz Allen Hamilton, Mitchell has had a consistent track record of success in increasingly broad and complex roles within the defense industry. He was instrumental in leading all operational functions including financial performance, contract acquisition, risk management and talent acquisition and deployment for a multi-billion dollar group of 15,000 employees. In addition to his membership on the SRC board of trustees, Mitchell is a member of the United Through Reading Board of Directors and National Defense Industrial Association. He earned his master's degree in Information Systems Management from George Washington University and received the Career Communications Group Black Engineer of the Year award in 2019.

Anthony O. Stewart

Anthony O. Stewart is the general manager at SRCTec, LLC. Stewart is responsible for the overall management and leadership of SRCTec, including developing and implementing strategic plans and initiatives, as well as collaborating with SRC to grow the manufacturing and logistics business. Stewart has broad experience working with quality assurance and control practices within the technology sector for over 30 years, most recently working as vice president, corporate quality at SRC. In his previous executive roles he was responsible for overseeing various projects and organizations within the electronics, aerospace, defense and automotive industries. Prior to joining SRC, Stewart served as corporate vice president, quality at Telephonics Corporation, where he streamlined quality operations, introduced innovative concepts and provided leadership with both production and R&D programs. Stewart holds master's degrees in both industrial engineering and business administration, and a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics from SUNY Buffalo.

David T. Bessey

David T. Bessey is vice president of business development & strategy for SRC, Inc. In his current role, Bessey is responsible for directing the corporate business development and strategy teams and setting policy for all related activities. He leads a team of market analysts, proposal management and business development/strategy professionals focused on developing new strategic opportunities for SRC's industry leading systems, products and services with new customers, while maintaining established relationships with existing customers. Bessey is a proven leader with over 30 years of management, business development and engineering experience for a diverse set of products and services for US and international defense customers. Throughout his career, he has been involved with all facets of business development activities - ranging from developing technologies, establishing strategies, directing proposal efforts, and supporting business area operations. He is dedicated to supporting the company's growth and commitment to remaining one of the nation's leading suppliers of unique solutions of national significance. Bessey is a member of numerous federal government business organizations including Air & Space Forces Association (AFA), Association of Old Crows (AOC), the Association of the United States Army (AUSA) and the Navy League. In April 2015, he was inducted into the Honorable Order of Saint Barbara, which recognizes individuals who have demonstrated the highest standards of integrity and moral character, displayed an outstanding degree of professional competence, served the US Army or USMC Field Artillery with selflessness, and contributed to the promotion of the Field Artillery in ways that stand out. Bessey holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from the State University of New York at Binghamton and a bachelor's degree in physics, with a minor concentration in computer science from Syracuse University.

Deborah G. Oliver

Deborah G. Oliver is a member of SRC's board of trustees. She has over 35 years of experience working in the defense industry, most recently serving as president and CEO of Seagate Government Solutions, a subsidiary of Seagate Technologies. Oliver began her career in the GE Aerospace Edison Engineering program and held various engineering positions with both GE Aerospace and Lockheed Martin. She rose to program vice president at Lockheed Martin and, in 2003, was selected as Lockheed Martin's Stanford Sloan Fellow. Oliver continued her career at Vencore, Inc., a divested division of Lockheed Martin, where she worked as chief operating officer and executive vice president. In 2015, Oliver joined Seagate Government Solutions providing IT solutions to the U.S. Government. In addition to serving on SRC's board of trustees, Oliver is a trustee of the CEO Trust and a member of the Illinois Gas Company board of directors.

Gwendolyn Sykes - CFO

Gwendolyn Sykes is executive vice president, finance and chief financial officer at SRC, Inc. and also serves as treasurer for the SRC International board of directors. Sykes directs investment management, pricing and cost analysis, and financial analyses of budgets, forecasts and results. She also reviews potential new acquisitions and communicates SRC's financial results to the company president, executive management and board of trustees. Prior to SRC, Sykes was CFO at the U.S. Secret Service. Before that, she was the first female to serve as a Political Appointee/Senate confirmed chief financial officer for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration. Sykes has also served as the chief financial officer at two academic enterprises - Yale University and Morehouse College. She has been recognized for her achievements by the National Academy of Public Administrators, Newsweek, the Today Show and the Association of Government Accountants. Sykes holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from Catholic University and a master's degree in public administration from American University, where she continues to serve as an adjunct professor in the School of Public Affairs. In May of 2022, Wilson College conferred upon her an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.
