Swift River Media and Technology was founded in 2007 by president and owner Patrick Ramsay. After finishing his education while interning as an electrical engineer and working for one of the top recording studios in the Boston metro area, Patrick returned to the Mt. Washington Valley to begin his professional career. Upon returning Patrick dove into the local music scene co-founding the band Vacate as well as recording local musical acts and engineering several in-house sound systems. Shortly thereafter he found his second love in life, working with computers. Soon after setting his sights on the computer industry Patrick found himself in a new profession as the IT director for a large condominium resort in the valley. Starting off with the task of just maintaining the computer systems and technology refreshment plan, Patrick soon jumped in head deep with the added duties of maintaining the resort website and also took over all of the in-house marketing and graphic design.
