Dave has been a part of SWAT Solutions since its formation in 1997. Under Dave's leadership, SWAT has grown into the market leader for Quality Assurance by focusing on customer needs and providing consultant services that exceed customer expectations.

John Fox - EVP

John has acquired over 30 years of experience in the software industry while working for several prominent Twin Cities companies. John was also a co-founder of Boomerang Marketing, an Internet-based incentive company. He has gained considerable expertise in FDA Quality Systems, Software Validation and Equipment Qualification since joining SWAT in 2002. Fox is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, MN and holds a BA degree in Psychology & Computer Science. Fox envisions the company's mission as enhancing the quality, stability and performance of software usage, thereby preventing costly failures and unnecessary downtime. Fox recently published Digital Work in an Analog World (Second Edition), a book that explores the role of psychology in software engineering and software quality and he speaks frequently on the topic as well.

Richard Burton

Richard Burton, QA Solutions Architect, is responsible for the company's Performance Engineering and DevOps offerings. Prior to joining SWAT in 2004, Burton worked in several capacities at PCTest Corporation in Portland, OR, most recently as a company Director. He designed and built hardware and software test matrices and processes for various sectors of the computer industry, testing over 500 software applications and 300 peripherals. Burton studied software engineering and mathematics at Portland Community College and completed advance coursework in Computer Systems Engineering Technology at the Oregon Institute of Technology.
