Founded in 1990, and incorporated in 1991, by industry veterans Hal Walker and Jon Jacobs, Superior Optical has a strong history of growth, technological advancement and service to the industry... Because one of our founders, Hal Walker, and our current CEO, Derek Bodart, are Service Disabled Veterans, we have always had a focus on serving veterans. Since 2006 we have provided eyewear to veterans through their local VA Hospital medical programs and these services are a major part of our business... We are proud to be certified as a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, and members of the National Veteran Small Business Coalition, providing quality eyewear to the veterans to whom we all owe so much.
