Bill Makridis - COO

Mr. Makridis joined TAMARACK in 2008 as the Chief Operating Officer (COO), bringing a broad Mr. Makridis is a 1985 graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD where he obtained a Bachelor of Science in Naval Architecture. He served for 27 years across a variety of assignments on both active and reserve duty and retired in 2013 as a CAPTAIN while assigned as the N5 (Plans) Assistance Chief of Staff (ACOS) to Commander, THIRD Fleet Maritime Air Operations Unit, where he was responsible for evaluating Fleet exercise performance and briefing senior, flag level staff during major Fleet and Joint/Combined readiness and ATFP exercises. In his capacity as the N5 ACOS, Mr. Makridis provided instructor level knowledge of Fleet Force Protection (FP) plans and assessment of vulnerabilities during deployed and ashore strike group operations. Mr. Makridis is a U.S. Navy F/A-18 combat-proven carrier aviator and with 624 arrested landings and over 7,000 hours flying high performance aircraft in demanding leadership environments.

Mr. Eddie Brinson - CEO

Mr. Eddie Brinson joined TAMARACK Technologies, Inc. in May 2009, retiring from active duty while assigned to the Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), in the Nuclear Surety and Force Protection Branch. He comes to the company after completing a successful 24-year career in the U.S. Navy, as a Senior Security Specialist. His military career included 13 years of enlisted service as a Physical Security, Law Enforcement, and Force Protection officer successfully serving aboard a wide range of combatant Naval ships and shore installations. He also served as a K-9 Dog handler, training and utilizing both Patrol (attack) and Explosive Detector dogs. In 1998, Mr. Brinson was selected for commissioning as a U.S. Naval Officer, under the Limited Duty Officer program; the program is designed to advance highly skilled Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and transition them into the naval officer ranks to serve as "technical experts" in their field. Following his commission, Mr. Brinson again served at sea, shore, and major staff assignments, most recently completing a highly successful assignment with the Director, Strategic Systems Programs (SSP), in the Nuclear Surety and Force Protection Branch. A recognized leader and SME, Mr. Brinson led a team of experts in the conduct of Vulnerability Assessments on the security, stowage, and movement of United States strategic assets. In addition, he led the first special team of professionals to assess the transit mission associated with United States Ballistic Missile submarines. In addition to his extensive contributions to nuclear security, Mr. Brinson brings tremendous depth of experience in Physical Security Project Management solutions. Mr. Brinson's tenure at TAMARACK has now spanned more than 12 years. In that time his duties and responsibilities have steadily increased from Director, Washington DC Operations, to Vice President, Physical Security Group, to Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Now, he leads TAMARACK on a continued path of providing exceptional contract support services to the federal and private-sector marketspace. Mr. Brinson currently resides in the Washington D.C. area, with his wife, Vivian.

Mr. Eddie Davis

Mr. Eddie Davis joined TAMARACK Technologies, Inc. in March 2016. He arrived with 28 years of honorable service in the U.S. Navy. His military career included 12 years of Enlisted Service, followed by 16 years of Commissioned service. As an Enlisted Master-At-Arms he performed Law Enforcement, Physical Security, Investigations and Training roles at NAF Misawa Japan, NAVCOMTELSTA Dededo Guam, NAVCOMTELSTA Wahiawa Hawaii, USS Tripoli (LPH 10) San Diego CA and the USS Fort McHenry Sasebo Japan. While serving as the Chief Master-At-Arms onboard the USS Fort McHenry (LSD-43) he was selected for commission as a Limited Duty Officer (LDO) Ensign and completed the Navy's Officer Indoctrination Course. As a Commissioned Officer, he reported to NSA Naples, Italy as the Assistant Security Director responsible for the Security Operations and Force Protection efforts at a major overseas installation. After a successful tour in Naples, Italy he reported onboard the Aircraft Carrier USS Constellation (CV-63) in San Diego, CA as the Security Officer and deployed twice to the middle east. Additionally, he served as the AT/FP Training Division Officer at Afloat Training Group San Diego responsible for training Third and Seventh fleet ship personnel in AT/FP and Visit Board Search and Seizure (VBSS) prior to deployment. His next tour took him to Commander Navy Region Southeast, Jacksonville, FL as the Region AT Officer and then onto NSB Kings bay, GA; one of only two Nuclear Submarine bases in the US, as the Security Director. After that tour he served onboard the only forward-deployed nuclear Aircraft Carrier the USS George Washington (CVN-73) based in Yokosuka, Japan as a Department Head. Mr. Davis reported to NAS Jacksonville, as the Security Director and there he retired at the rank of LCDR. During his career he also served as an Individual Augmentee at Joint Detention Operations Group Guantanamo Bay Cuba as a Company Commander and Detention Operations Officer. He also augmented the NATO International Security Assistance Force in Kandahar, Afghanistan assigned to the British Element as the Base Security Officer. For his superior service, he was awarded the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (4 Gold Stars), Navy Achievement Medal (4 Gold Stars) and various other campaign and service decorations and awards. Mr. Davis earned his Master of Science Degree and is certified with the American Society for. Industrial Security, as a Certified Protection Professional (CPP).

Paul Iordanides

Mr. Iordanides has several degrees in Electronics Technology, Computer Science as well Masters in Engineering work from Cal State University. He served for 9 years in the Navy across a variety of assignments on active duty, before resigning and going to work for Logicon Corp, where he worked on Link 11 systems. He then started his Navy Civilian career at Naval Ocean Systems Center (NOSC), which changed to Space and Naval Warfare Center Pacific (SPAWAR). While at SPAWAR, Mr. Iordanides led the Navy efforts for AT/FP Command & Control systems aboard 72 Navy Ashore installation including the design, development and testing of Mass Notification systems Giant Voice (GV) and the Alert! system used currently by the Army and at the Pentagon. Mr. Iordanides' final assignment was working in Washington D.C. for Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) and the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC), as the Director of Systems Engineering for the AT/FP program, where he was responsible for the systems engineering of over 100,000 assets deployed on Navy installations worldwide. Mr. Iordanides likes to spend his free time enjoying Amateur Radio, where he holds an Extra class license as W9WC and where he designs and builds radio systems. He also likes boating and is a student pilot.
