TGSWATER

TGS Water Ltd has been involved in various projects since it was founded in 2007. These projects concern the drilling of deep boreholes and shallow boreholes, the protection of springs and the rehabilitation and test pumping of boreholes in Lira, Apac, Gulu, Amuria, Pader, Kitgum, Oyam and Dokolo Districts in Uganda... The activities of TGS Water started in 2004, when The Good Shepherd (TGS) Foundation, established in the Netherlands in 1999, funded the provision of consultancy services in the water sector in Uganda and other African countries through CARITAS Lira. In the period 2004-2007, the CARITAS water department has constructed over 150 springs and 20 shallow boreholes in the Lira Diocese area with TGS Foundation funding. In 2007, the water department staff was integrated into the new private company TGS Water Ltd.
