In law school, he served 
as a Student Attorney at the Villanova University School of Law Clinic for Law and Entrepreneurship, where he provided counsel and advised an internet startup company and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. He also assisted a public corporation in drafting securities and corporate governance documents. After his first year of law school, Greg McCauley Jr. was a summer clerk for Resident Judge Witham in the Delaware Superior Court. After his second year, he was a summer associate at a Corporate Litigation Firm in Wilmington, DE. Greg McCauley Jr. is admitted to practice law in Delaware and New Jersey, as well as the United States Tax Court and the US District Court for the District of Delaware. Greg McCauley Jr. is a member of several professional associations, including the American Bar Association, Delaware State Bar Association, and New Jersey Bar Association. He is also a member of the Delaware State Bar Association Taxation Section. Greg McCauley Jr. has made contributions to multiple publications.
