David L. Spiro

David began his insurance career with Branch Insurance Agency in 1984. Over the years he has been recognized by his peers for his dedication and commitment to the insurance industry. In addition, he has developed an expertise in professional and management liability programs including specialty coverages for the Banking and Mortgage Industry. He has been quoted over the years in trade publications and has published articles relating to these unique coverages.

Lane S. Rubin

Lane began his career over 30 years ago with Mutual of New York and later joined Fortune Agency in Valley Stream, NY in 1978. He has participated on agent councils with various insurance companies over the years, has served as Chair of the Board for the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of New York and is a Past President of the Independent Agents Association of Nassau County (now called the Tri-County Independent Insurance Agents Association). He is the recipient of several association awards of distinction for his unselfish dedication & commitment to the insurance industry. In addition, Lane was honored by UJA-Federation of New York's Long Island Insurance Division for his contributions to the industry and community. Lane focuses on the day to day management of the agency in addition to servicing and marketing new programs to the agency's client base.

Steven J. Spiro

Steven began his insurance career as a Field Representative for the Guardian Life Insurance Company in 1979 and attained both his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations. He later joined Spiro Risk Management, Inc. and remained there for almost 30 years until the establishment of The Excelsior Group, Inc. In addition to managing the agency, he spends much of his time developing Financial Service and Employee Benefit programs. Steven has served on the National Board of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association of America as well as their Healthcare Task Force and Professional Liability Committees. He is a Past President of the Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers Association of New York and a past Governor of the New York District of Key Club International. In addition to offering testimony on insurance issues on numerous occasions both in New York State and before Congress, he has been honored with many awards of distinction by the insurance industry at the local and state levels. In addition, he currently serves as President of the Five Towns Community Chest and on the Board of Trustees of Temple Beth El in Cedarhurst.
