THOMAS WILLINGALE SCHOOL AND NURSERY

At Thomas Willingale School and Nursery, staff endeavour to empower all children to learn effectively, develop individual talents, social skills and moral responsibility. We hope that the children of this school, as they grow physically and mentally, will also grow socially and spiritually gaining respect for themselves and each other... Thomas Willingale School was opened in 1957. It was originally a separate Infant and Junior School. The schools were combined in 1968. The buildings were re-clad and refurbished in 1989. In 1999 a new KS2 Department was built and the land previously housing the old KS2 building was sold for housing.
