The Terang and District Co-operative is a long-standing and innovative enterprise owned by around 3,000 shareholders from the local community, who we know as our ‘members'... Established in 1908, the ‘Co-op' has around 3,000 members (shareholders). The Co-op is based in Terang and operates a supermarket, a rural farm supplies store and a fabrication services outlet and two hardware stores, one of which is located in Camperdown. Enabling customers to shop locally without having to travel, we offer a diverse range of products across our businesses, backed by award-winning customer service and professional advice... The strategic direction of the Co-op is guided by a Board of Directors in consultation with our members. Our daily operations are overseen by store managers, who are backed by a dedicated workforce of around 130 with a mix of full time, part time and casual staff.
