With over thirty years' experience in business transformation, business development, sales, general management, project management and consultancy roles in leading Australian companies, Gavin has complemented this experience with his considerable work in programming, analysis, human resources, training and lecturing. Gavin's clients have included leading corporations in telecommunications, information technology, tourism, automotive, heating, professional services, agriculture, education and training. He has supported his clients to become industry leaders in their chosen fields. Gavin commenced his IT career as a trainee programmer (COBOL) and later progressed through the technical ranks to project manager. During the 1980's he managed a UNIX software house that developed network and traffic management software solutions for Telstra. Gavin commenced coaching in 2002 which has been complemented by his trusted advisor work with start-ups specialising in web based & mobile applications and developing their customer bases. Additionally, he has done transformation work (workshops & performance business coaching) with Telstra (Chief Marketing Office) in the analytics group. He has presented the self-awareness platform to ICAANZ (Institute of Chartered Accountants) which were very well received. He has done other presentations on advanced self-awareness. He coaches people in diverse roles covering CEO, CFO, CIO, CSO, CMO & Partners in Accounting firms, General Managers, emerging partners and high potentials which provide access to networks and valuable insights. He coaches people into senior management and CEO roles. He is currently coaching CEO's, CFO's and CDO's. He has done immense research on leadership and how to configure high performance teams. Gavin is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and Institute of Management Consultants and gained his tertiary qualifications in Business from Monash University and a Diploma of Education from State College Victoria.
