Kimberly Gail

Kimberly Gail has worked in the broadcasting industry for twenty years. Following graduation from Murray State University in Murray, KY with a degree in Radio/TV, Kimberly became a news reporter in her hometown of Hopkinsville, KY. Half a year later, she set her sights on something larger - an internship with the Dept. of Army at the Pentagon. Competing against more than 200 other applicants, Kimberly became one of two people ultimately interviewed and selected for the highly sought after Army Public Affairs Internship Program. Part of her training involved reporting for Soldiers Radio and Television and coordinating media for the funeral of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. Upon completing the program, Kimberly accepted an offer to work as a broadcaster with American Forces Network at its headquarters in Frankfurt, Germany. Kimberly remained with AFN for four years. While there she was hand-picked to voice commercials for such notable companies as BMW, Villeroy & Boch, Deutsche Bank and Lufthansa. When she returned to the U.S., she continued working for DoD as head of media relations for Fort Carson in Colorado. Kimberly eventually stepped down from her highly rewarding position to raise her young children. Life was good, but when her husband's position as a contractor wasn't renewed, it was time for Kimberly to return to the professional world. This time, she did something slightly different from her previous work in news and public affairs; she became the co-host of a morning radio show. She loved nearly every aspect of her job, but after five years was more than happy to trade in those 3:30 a.m. waking hours for once again, staying home with her growing family. Today, Kimberly and her husband Randy have three children, ages 8, 7 and 4. In her spare time Kimberly voice tracks a weekend program for KTLF in Colorado Springs, Colo. and voices commercials and training videos whenever the opportunities arise.
