Tomypak Holdings Berhad (Tomypak), one of the leading converters for flexible food packaging in Malaysia, is pleased to announce that its shareholders have approved the acquisition of EB Packaging Sdn Bhd (EB Packaging). It was greenlighted at the ordinary resolution at its extraordinary general meeting yesterday (Oct 11). The approved resolution by shareholders of the group is for the proposed acquisition of 70% shares in EB Packaging by Tomypak Flexible Packaging Sdn Bhd (TFP), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tomypak. The call and put options for the remaining 30% equity interest of EB Packaging. The total cash consideration for the acquisition and options are RM73,500,000 and a maximum of RM31,500,000 respectively.
