The Pinemont Apartments was concieved and established by St. Giles Presbyterian Church and The Presbytery of New Covenant in partnership with the Department of Housing and Urban Development. It is dedicated to providing affordable housing for the elderly and persons with disabilities... The Pinemont Apartments offer studio, one and two bedroom apartments, and one and two bedroom apartments with specially designed features for the physically disabled. The property features access-controlled gates, beautiful garden patio areas, resident vegetable gardens, laundry facilities and a community room with a library, large-screen television and on-line computer access. Each of the four three-story buildings has its own elevator, valet garbage pick-up twice a week, each apartment has a private patio with an additional storage area, cable television hook-ups, and in-sink garbage disposal.
