Adam Chall

Adam Chall, Partner, joined TMG in 2003 and is responsible for various development activities. Adam has more than 20 years of commercial real estate experience, including development, finance, marketing, sales, leasing, and construction management. He currently oversees TMG Partners' 800,000 square foot downtown Oakland office portfolio. Most recently, he completed the redevelopment of 1330 Broadway in Oakland, which received a Business Times "Deal of the Year" award. He also oversaw the redevelopment of the former Hamm's Brewery and 208 Utah Street, two "creative space" office buildings in San Francisco, as well as the award-winning Soma Grand condominium project. Mr. Chall holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and an M.B.A. in real estate and finance from Emory University.

Britt Wenzler, Partner, joined TMG in 2022 and is responsible for development activities in support of the firm's growth strategy throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to TMG, Britt's 19 years of experience in real estate focused on entitlements, design, permitting and construction of urban infill mixed-use projects. While at Carmel Partners, Britt was responsible for the development and construction of 1,000 housing units delivered across the Bay Area, in addition to working on entitling multiple projects on the Peninsula. During her time at McFarlane Partners, she focused on mixed-use projects throughout the Bay Area and Seattle, managing the design, development, construction, lease up and JV partnerships. Britt began her development career in New York City working for Forest City Ratner Companies focused on office development and the Barclays Center. Britt holds a BS in Business Administration from Georgetown University.

Cathy has been responsible for expanding the company's portfolio through strategic acquisition of projects with particular emphasis on development opportunities and value enhancement. Cathy has managed over $2.7 billion in project financing and development activity for TMG. She has over 37 years of real estate and finance experience. As Senior Advisor, she will focus on specific ad hoc projects in finance and development. Prior to TMG: Cathy has an extensive background in real estate development, including 12 years as Vice President for Calprop Corporation. Cathy holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of California Los Angeles. She was also a Sloan Fellow at Stanford Graduate School of Business, where she earned a Master's of Science degree in Business.

Drew Thomas

Drew Thomas, Partner, joined TMG in 2011 and is responsible for the development and acquisition of urban infill, value-add commercial real estate investments throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Drew has over fourteen years of commercial real estate experience, including acquisitions, finance, sales, leasing, and development. While with TMG, Drew has managed the acquisition, development, refurbishment and leasing of approximately 1.3 million square feet of research and development office space in four South Bay projects totaling 13 properties spanning Sunnyvale, North San Jose and Fremont. In addition, he has lead the historic renovation and releasing of the 200,000 square foot Breuner Building in Uptown Oakland. In total, he has directed in excess of $80 million in capital improvement investments, leased over 620,000 square feet and played a major role in acquisitions and dispositions totaling $460 million. Prior to TMG: Drew was the managing Associate for Boston Properties' finance / capital markets group responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, property financings and lease and development underwriting. During his tenure, he directly led the firm's efforts on over $1.4 billion of transactions, while also managing the firm's three-person analyst team responsible for portfolio-wide quantitative asset management. Drew began his career in investment banking with Morgan Stanley in New York, NY and subsequently spent six years in various financial and business development capacities with several firms throughout the Bay Area peninsula. He earned an M.B.A. in finance from the Carroll Graduate School of Management at Boston College and graduated magna cum laude with a B.S. in Psychology from Washington & Lee University.

Jim Wunderman serves as the president and chief executive officer of the Bay Area Council, a business-backed public policy organization in the San Francisco-Oakland-Silicon Valley Bay Area. Kathryn Hall is Founder and Co-Chair of Hall Capital Partners LLC, and she is a member of the firm's Executive Committee and Investment Review Committee. Before founding the firm in 1994, Ms. Hall was a General Partner of Laurel Arbitrage Partners, a risk arbitrage investment partnership that she founded in 1989. Prior to that, she was a General Partner of HFS Management Partners (predecessor to Farallon Capital Partners), HFS Partners I, and Hellman & Friedman. Ms. Hall began her career at Morgan Stanley where she worked in both the risk arbitrage and mergers and acquisitions departments. Currently, Ms. Hall serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees of The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Trustees and the Investment Committee of the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), and is Chair of the Investment Committee of the Smithsonian Institution. Ms. Hall also serves on the Board of Directors of the McEvoy Group, the San Jose Earthquakes, and Ariat International. Ms. Hall served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees of Princeton University from 2011 to 2019, and as a trustee from 2001-2005 and 2006-2019. She also served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Princeton University Investment Company (PRINCO) from 2008 to 2011 and as a director from 1998 to 2011. Kenneth T. Rosen

Ken Rosen is Chairman of Rosen Consulting Group, a real estate market research firm, Chairman of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics and Professor Emeritus at the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Mr. Rosen is also a trustee of the Urban Land Institute and a member of the board of directors of several non-profit and for-profit entities that deal with real estate finance and development. He has authored over 100 articles and four books on real estate and real estate finance. He was formerly the Chairman and founder of Rosen Real Estate Securities LLC (RRES), and Chairman, founder and portfolio manager of Lend Lease Rosen Securities, both REIT money management firms. Also, Ken served as the special real estate advisor to The Davos World Economic Forum, and from 1985-1990 he was Consultant/Managing Director of Salomon Brothers' Real Estate Research Department. Mr. Rosen received his Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a B.A. with highest honors from the University of Connecticut in 1970. Lynn Tolin, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, joined TMG Partners in 1988 and has almost 40 years of real estate experience in the Bay Area. In her current function, Lynn oversees asset and property management, accounting, administration and other functions of the company. In her 31 years with TMG she has helped coordinate the acquisition, management and disposition of approximately twenty-seven million square feet of various property types valued in excess of over $5.5 billion. Prior to TMG: Lynn was with Cornish & Carey's San Mateo office, specializing in office leasing. She also spent time at Hare Brewer & Kelley in Palo Alto serving as Senior Property Manager, specializing in commercial and residential condominiums. Lynn received her Bachelor's degree and MBA from St. Mary's College of California. Most investment professionals have a clear understanding of IRR: Internal Rate of Return, a purely financial measurement of performance. At TMG we use a different definition. Matt Concannon, Partner, joined TMG in 2019, and is involved with various development activities in support of the firm's growth strategy throughout the Bay Area region. Prior to TMG, Matt brings 15 years of real estate industry experience focused on entitlements, design, construction, and financial analysis on a portfolio of projects totaling more than $4B. As a Vice President for PMA, a development consulting firm, Matt was responsible for urban development and represented multiple real estate developers, institutions, and REITs. He has delivered a variety of signature projects including ground-up campus and high-rise properties such as Park Tower in Transbay, San Francisco. Prior to PMA, Matt was a Project Manager for JLL where he managed value-add redevelopment and tenant improvements for Bank of America, Union Bank and Motorola. Matt holds a BS in Business Administration, with a concentration in Real Estate, from San Diego State University.

Matt has been with TMG Partners since 1993 and is responsible for managing acquisitions and dispositions, while supporting the firm's development activities with lead responsibility for the real estate portfolio, including Chairing the Investment Committee. He has been responsible for over $5 billion of acquisitions and dispositions for TMG since 2003. Previously, he was responsible for managing complex entitlement and development projects. Prior to TMG: Matt worked at Catellus Development Corporation in corporate financial analysis and major asset acquisitions and dispositions. Michael Covarrubias joined TMG Partners in 1988 and has directed the company since 1995, overseeing all of the company's operations. Michael began his career with 17 years at Union Bank. His roles included managing commercial and real estate lending, administrative management, and in his last position before joining TMG, serving as Senior Vice President and Manager of Union Bank's Silicon Valley Regional Real Estate Center. As CEO, Michael has led the TMG team in $30 billion of acquisitions and development while leading an entrepreneurial culture of talented, committed professionals. Beyond the firm's distinguished reputation as a leader in Bay Area real estate, Michael is highly respected for his leadership in the business community, highlights of which are chairing the Bay Area Council, and leading a critical effort with the Metropolitan Transportation Committee on regional solutions for transportation, housing, and economic vitality. He has also served in multiple leadership roles for the Urban Land Institute. He was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from the San Francisco Business Times in 2019. Michael is a graduate of the University of San Francisco with a bachelor's degree in business administration. As the Bay Area's economy has grown over the last three decades, so too has its challenges-particularly related to transportation, housing, affordability and climate change. Warren E. "Ned" Spieker, Jr., is a partner of Spieker Realty Investments, a private real estate investment and development firm in Menlo Park, California. He served as chief executive officer of Spieker Properties, Inc. and was Chairman of the Board of the company until its merger into Equity Office in 2001. Mr. Spieker also served as a managing partner and board member of Trammell Crow Company, a company that delivers building management, brokerage and development and project management for users of and investors in commercial real estate. He serves on the board of Continuing Life, a developer and operator of Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs) that provide independent living, assisted living and skilled nursing facilities at four California locations; past member of Health Care Property Investors, Inc., a real estate investment trust and investor in healthcare-related real estate located throughout the United States. Mr. Spieker is also a past Chairman of the Board of Governors of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts (NAREIT).
