TIGHE & BOND - Key Persons
Andrew Wilkinson is a Senior Project Manager based out of our Woburn, MA office, assisting clients with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEP/FP) engineering projects. His project experience includes existing system and building assessments, conceptual planning, renovations and retrofits for existing buildings, as well as the design and construction administration of new building systems for both private and public bid projects. Andrew specializes in sustainable mechanical system designs, with a focus on Multi-Family Passive House Certified projects.
He is experienced in the design of energy-efficient systems including VRF/VRV air source, geothermal, and water source heat pump systems, central hydronic/steam boiler plants, chiller systems, cooling towers, potable water heating system designs, potable and hydronic piping distribution, systems controls and equipment sequences of operation.
Andrew's ability to effectively communicate various project design challenges and code compliance requirements, while navigating Owner and design teams from project conception to final construction completion allows us to provide a superior level of quality and helps drive the successful execution of the project.
With over 25 years of experience in the water and wastewater industry, Ben is skilled at collaborating with municipalities to design and improve water and wastewater systems. He has managed projects from planning and conceptual design through piloting and final design throughout Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Ben regularly designs gravity sewer and wastewater pumping stations, water mains, booster stations, and water treatment plants the meet the unique needs of a wide range of clients.
Ben is also active in several professional organizations including the American Water Works Association, the Water Environment Federation, the New England Water Environment Association, the New England Water Works Association, and the Rhode Island Water Works Association.

Brian Huntley serves as a project manager on a variety of public and private civil engineering projects, specializing in solid waste and renewable energy-related design and permitting. He has designed and managed projects, prepared project schedules and cost estimates, developed technical specifications, guided projects through the regulatory permitting process, and provided bidding and construction phase engineering services. He is an active member of Tighe & Bond's renewable energy team, providing site/civil engineering and design advice for solar and wind energy projects, including several solar installations on capped landfills.
Brian Nereson serves as Principal Engineer for the geotechnical engineering group in Tighe & Bond's Water business line. He has close to 20 years of geotechnical engineering experience, including geotechnical consulting and ground improvement design and construction. Brian received his BS in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire and is a member of both the national and New Hampshire divisions for the American Society of Civil Engineers. He is also a licensed Professional Engineer in each of the New England states. Brian's professional experience includes design and construction oversight of shallow foundations, deep foundations, ground improvement, retaining walls, and reinforced slopes.
Vice President Carolyn Lowe has worked throughout New York and Connecticut and has honed her expertise in environmental engineering for nearly 3 decades. She has focused on planning, design, permitting, bidding, and construction services for drinking water, wastewater, building, and other asset management and improvement projects.
Carolyn collaborates with the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to further develop project and quality management processes and training across all disciplines. She is also leading the Tighe & Bond ES&G program. Over the last decade, Carolyn has primarily spearheaded initiatives in the areas of business development for municipal and public clients, project delivery, process improvement, and office management. She also has significant past participation in corporate activities related to professional development training, recruiting, and brand recognition.
