A. K. Gupta, Founder and Managing Director of TPM, is a well-known expert in the area of trade remedial measures in the country. Mr. Gupta has done Masters in Management Studies (MMS) from BITS, Pilani and is a member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He is also a member of All India Management Association.He served Government of India for more than seven years, during which he majorly served as Assistant Director in Anti-Dumping Division (the present Directorate General of Trade Remedies). In 1999, he resigned from the Government services to set up is own practice in the field of trade remedies. .
Over the period, Mr. Gupta has built his name as an eminent practitioner in the field. With the highest number of cases to his name, he is unarguably an icon in the field of trade remedies. Under his leadership, TPM has been associated in about 85-90% of anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguards investigations in the country, in which it has mostly represented the domestic industries seeking imposition of anti-dumping duty. With his unparalleled passion and commitment to his work, he has built lasting relationships with his clients.
Mr. Gupta is an honorary lecturer in post qualification course of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (International Trade Laws and World Trade Organization). He has addressed a number of seminars on the subject.
Aastha Gupta is a Joint Partner with TPM Consultants, and has been a part of TPM since June 2017. She is a lawyer and a Chartered Accountant. She holds experience in the field of trade remedies, policy advocacy as well as indirect taxation.
Aastha has extensively worked on investigations with industries in the chemicals and petrochemicals sector, textiles sector, and fertilizers sector. She has also represented producers belonging to the steel products industry, tiles industry, pharmaceutical industry. Apart from India, Aastha has experience working in investigations in Canada, USA, China, European Union, GCC, Brazil and Taiwan.
In her role in policy advocacy, Aastha has been involved in assisting industries in seeking relief or concessions from the Government, including under free trade agreements, PLI scheme, and for imposition of tariff and non-tariff barriers.
In the field of indirect taxation, Aastha has experience in representing cases before the adjudicating authority as well as Appellate Tribunal. She has also assisted in matters presented before the High Court and Supreme Court. Apart from litigation, Aastha has experience in providing advisory services to industries in matters of indirect taxation.
Amit Sehgal is a Joint Partner at TPM and has a total industrial experience of 23 years. He has been exclusively engaged with TPM's international trade advisory team for more than 9 years. He has earned a LL.B. degree from University of Rajasthan. Amit specialises in trade remedy practise pertaining to anti-dumping, safeguards and countervailing duty investigations. He has assisted clients from various sectors including Aluminium, Capital Goods, Ceramic Industry Petrochemicals, Chemicals and Textiles. He has also represented clients in trade remedial investigations conducted in various jurisdictions in European Union, GCC, USA and Taiwan. Apart from trade remedies, he has experience of direct and indirect tax advisory, audit, finalization of accounts and ERP implementation. Amit has also contributed to the book "A handbook on Trade Remedial Measure, An Indian Perspective" published by LexisNexis
Divya Nair is a Joint Partner at TPM and has been part of the firm since 2011.
Divya specialises in WTO and trade remedy laws pertaining to anti-dumping, safeguards and countervailing duty investigations.
Divya has nine years of experience in dealing with trade remedial laws and international trade. She has assisted clients from various industry sectors including steel, automobile, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals and chemicals. She is also engaged in litigation matters before the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal and Delhi High Court. Her areas of expertise also includes representing clients in trade remedial matters conducted in various jurisdictions, including EU, Egypt, Indonesia etc.
Divya is also one of the contributors in the Book "A handbook on Trade Remedial Measure, An Indian Perspective" published by LexisNexis.
She has earned a B.A LLB (Hons) degree from Hidayatullah National Law University
K N Kothari is a Joint Partner at TPM and has been part of the firm's International Trade Remedy practice since May 1999. He has experience of more than 20 years in TPM. He has worked successfully with clients across various sectors including chemicals, petrochemicals, machineries, textiles etc. His areas of expertise include representing domestic industry in trade remedial investigations conducted in India. He has also represented Chinese exporters in the Indian investigations. He is also one of the contributors in the Book "A handbook on Trade Remedial Measure, An Indian Perspective" published by LexisNexis.

Kavita Gupta has helped lay the founding stones of TPM. Mrs. Gupta completed her M.A. (Economics) from Rajasthan University. She worked in Punjab National Bank for 14 years and thereafter joined TPM. Mrs. Gupta is the Director of Finance, Human Resources and Administration.
As a leader, she has ensured that the TPM team is woven together like a family. She is the backbone of success to TPM by ensuring that operational and strategic goals are realized, while creating a positive work environment that allows the team to develop. Under her able guidance, TPM has grown manifolds over the years, to achieve its vision.
Namrita Raghuwanshi is a Joint Partner at TPM and has been part of the firm's International Trade Remedy practice since June 2010.
Namrita has extensive experience in matters relating to trade-remedial laws and international trade. She has represented clients in several trade remedial investigations including Anti-dumping, Anti-subsidy and Safeguard investigations.
Namrita has worked successfully with clients across various sectors including Petrochemicals, Chemicals, Fibres, Machinery, Metals, Electrical, Electronics and Consumer goods. Her areas of expertise include representing clients in trade remedial investigations conducted in various jurisdictions, including the United States, Brazil, Canada, EU, Korea, GCC and India. She is also engaged in litigation matters before the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal and Delhi High Court.
Ms. Namrita Raghuwanshi, has been recognised as one of the "Recommended International Leader" by Who's Who Lega l in field of Trade and Customs.
Namrita has also been recognized in ALB's India Rising Stars for 2024 - this list recognises the most accomplished young Lawyers below the age of 40 based in India.
Namrita has co-authored the Book "Guide to International Ant-Dumping Practice" published by Wolters Kluwer International. She is also one of the contributors in the Book "A handbook on Trade Remedial Measure, An Indian Perspective" published by LexisNexis.

Nihit Gupta is a Joint Partner at TPM and has been part of the firm's International Trade practice areas since July 2010
He is a graduate from India Institute of Technology Madras, with experience of 10+ years in various aspects of trade related matters including Free Trade Agreements, Foreign Trade Policies, Customs, Non- Tariff Measures and Market Intelligence. He has been providing services in these areas to various manufacturers/ traders and their associations in sectors like Automotive, Capital Goods, Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Electrical, Pharmaceutical and steel. Prior to joining in TPM, he had more than 2 years of working experience in IT industry.
He is having an impressive knowledge and experience in product analysis, trade data analysis, research & economic studies in international trade. Along with providing services in these areas, he is also associated with some of the manufacturing sector associations as an advisor and is a regular writer in trade journals and industry publications. He is also one of the contributors in the Book "A handbook on Trade Remedial Measure, An Indian Perspective" published by LexisNexis.
He has extensively travelled to East Asia and some countries in Middle East, the Americas, and has fair exposure of assisting clients across the globe.
Praveen Khandelwal is an Executive Partner at TPM and has been part of the firm's International Trade Remedy practice since 1999. He has more than 20 years of extensive experience in Trade Remedial laws. He has handled more than 400 cases of trade remedies including anti-dumping, anti-subsidy and safeguard duty.
He has represented Indian industry in Indian investigations as well as in foreign jurisdictions like US, EU, Brazil, Canada, Argentina, China, Turkey, Indonesia, Egypt, Korea RP etc; represented foreign clients in Indian jurisdiction, represented foreign clients in another foreign jurisdiction, represented Indian clients in Indian jurisdiction, represented Indian clients in foreign jurisdiction etc. He has worked successfully with clients across various sectors including Organic and Inorganic Chemicals, Polyester film, Man-made synthetic fibres and yarn, Petrochemicals, Iron & Steel and its articles, Cement, Bulk Drugs, Photographic Goods, Synthetic Rubber, Fishnet, Silk fabric, Footwear, Ceramic and porcelain tiles, Copper, Aluminium Articles, Zinc Oxide, Tires, Optical Transmission equipment, Optical Fibre, Lead Acid Batteries etc. He travels across the globe.

Rahul Malsa is a Joint Partner at TPM and has been part of the firm's International Trade Remedy practice for more than 9 years . He has worked successfully with clients across various sectors including Stainless Steel, Automotive Tyres/ Auto components, Chemicals, Synthetic/Manmade Yarns and Fabrics. He has represented clients in trade remedial investigations conducted in various jurisdictions in USA, Turkey and India. Rajesh Sharma is an Executive Partner at TPM and has been part of the firm's International Trade Remedy practice since 2003. He has been practicing in the International Trade Law and involved in a number of cases handled by the TPM before various jurisdictions including India, US, European Union, Canada etc.
He has vast experience of handling the trade remedial matter before Tribunal (CESTAT), Various High Courts in India and Supreme Court of India. He has rich experience of drafting of Appeals, Writ petitions, Writ Appeals, Special Civil Petitions (SLPs) and Civil Appeals etc.
He is regularly involved in briefings to various senior advocates while defending interest of the TPM Clients. He himself also argued a number of cases independently.
Rajesh Sharma is a Law Graduate from Rajasthan University Jaipur - Rajasthan. Rajesh Sharma is a member of Supreme Court Bar Association. He is also one of the contributors in the Book "A handbook on Trade Remedial Measure, An Indian Perspective" published by LexisNexis.
Vikas Arora is a Joint Partner at TPM and has been part of the firm's International Trade Remedy practice since October 2007. He has experience of more than 12 years in TPM. He has worked successfully with clients across various sectors including chemicals, petrochemicals, fibres, fabrics, yarn, tiles, tableware and Kitchenware etc. His areas of expertise include representing clients in trade remedial investigations conducted in various jurisdictions, including the United States, Turkey and India.
