A. K. Gupta, Founder and Managing Director of TPM, is a well-known expert in the area of trade remedial measures in the country. Mr. Gupta has done Masters in Management Studies (MMS) from BITS, Pilani and is a member of Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He is also a member of All India Management Association.He served Government of India for more than seven years, during which he majorly served as Assistant Director in Anti-Dumping Division (the present Directorate General of Trade Remedies). In 1999, he resigned from the Government services to set up is own practice in the field of trade remedies. . Over the period, Mr. Gupta has built his name as an eminent practitioner in the field. With the highest number of cases to his name, he is unarguably an icon in the field of trade remedies. Under his leadership, TPM has been associated in about 85-90% of anti-dumping, countervailing and safeguards investigations in the country, in which it has mostly represented the domestic industries seeking imposition of anti-dumping duty. With his unparalleled passion and commitment to his work, he has built lasting relationships with his clients. Mr. Gupta is an honorary lecturer in post qualification course of Institute of Chartered Accountant of India (International Trade Laws and World Trade Organization). He has addressed a number of seminars on the subject.

Aastha Gupta

Aastha Gupta is a Joint Partner with TPM Consultants, and has been a part of TPM since June 2017. She is a lawyer and a Chartered Accountant. She holds experience in the field of trade remedies, policy advocacy as well as indirect taxation. Aastha has extensively worked on investigations with industries in the chemicals and petrochemicals sector, textiles sector, and fertilizers sector. She has also represented producers belonging to the steel products industry, tiles industry, pharmaceutical industry. Apart from India, Aastha has experience working in investigations in Canada, USA, China, European Union, GCC, Brazil and Taiwan. In her role in policy advocacy, Aastha has been involved in assisting industries in seeking relief or concessions from the Government, including under free trade agreements, PLI scheme, and for imposition of tariff and non-tariff barriers. In the field of indirect taxation, Aastha has experience in representing cases before the adjudicating authority as well as Appellate Tribunal. She has also assisted in matters presented before the High Court and Supreme Court. Apart from litigation, Aastha has experience in providing advisory services to industries in matters of indirect taxation.

Amit Sehgal

Amit Sehgal is a Joint Partner at TPM and has a total industrial experience of 23 years. He has been exclusively engaged with TPM's international trade advisory team for more than 9 years. He has earned a LL.B. degree from University of Rajasthan. Amit specialises in trade remedy practise pertaining to anti-dumping, safeguards and countervailing duty investigations. He has assisted clients from various sectors including Aluminium, Capital Goods, Ceramic Industry Petrochemicals, Chemicals and Textiles. Divya Nair

Divya Nair is a Joint Partner at TPM and has been part of the firm since 2011. Divya specialises in WTO and trade remedy laws pertaining to anti-dumping, safeguards and countervailing duty investigations. Divya has nine years of experience in dealing with trade remedial laws and international trade. She has assisted clients from various industry sectors including steel, automobile, pharmaceuticals, petrochemicals and chemicals. She is also engaged in litigation matters before the Customs, Excise and Service Tax Appellate Tribunal and Delhi High Court. Kavita Gupta has helped lay the founding stones of TPM. Mrs. Gupta completed her M.A. (Economics) from Rajasthan University. She worked in Punjab National Bank for 14 years and thereafter joined TPM. Mrs. Gupta is the Director of Finance, Human Resources and Administration. As a leader, she has ensured that the TPM team is woven together like a family. She is the backbone of success to TPM by ensuring that operational and strategic goals are realized, while creating a positive work environment that allows the team to develop. Under her able guidance, TPM has grown manifolds over the years, to achieve its vision.

Ms. Namrita Raghuwanshi
