TRUE BLUE ORGANICS

We encourage students from the organic horticultural course at Lincoln College's Biological Husbandry Unit to come here for their week's work experience and we also offer hospitality at times to willing workers from other countries... Tea Tree is the main crop but as we are believers in diversity and self-sufficiency, we produce a variety of our own food. The home orchard has pears, nashis, plums and apples, and there is a commercial orchard of 400 feijoa trees. We produce eggs, honey and meat from sheep and cattle for our own needs. I also grow enough calendula flowers to make the calendula infused oil which is an important moisturising ingredient in the Hand Sanitiser, the TLC Balm and the soap... Our main product is the 100% pure Tea Tree essential oil grown, harvested and distilled on our environmental award winning farm in remote Karamea. The essential oil is also used in other value-added products, including Tea Tree Calendula soap, the TLC balm, the Formula 1 household cleaner..
