To develop, implement and maintain Saskatchewan's single, cost-effective, province-wide Used Oil Materials Recycling Program, SARRC was formed on February 12, 1996 under the Non-Profit Corporations Act of Saskatchewan... SARRC has nearly 130 easy access collection points across Saskatchewan. It means there's a location near you to recycle your used oil, oil filters, antifreeze, and their containers along with DEF containers. In 2022, SARRC's program facilitated the collection of 15.2 million litres of used oil, 1.5 million used oil filters, 289,926 litres of antifreeze, and 342,825 Kg of used oil and antifreeze plastic containers. SARRC ensures that used oil, filters, antifreeze and their plastic containers are managed sustainably, returned to a useful state, and kept out of landfills and the environment.
