The third international conference on "Updating Quantum Cryptography and Communications" organized by NICT, IPA and AIST will be held on October 18-20, 2010, at the ANA InterContinental Hotel in Tokyo. The scope of the conference is to present latest advancement of quantum cryptography and communications, and to discuss fundamental and practical issues in realizing quantum networking. The participants will be able to witness a live demonstration of an operational quantum key distribution (QKD) network, combining multiple QKD-links in a metropolitan network in Tokyo, through international cooperation.
