Brian Sims - CEO

Job Titles:
  • CEO
Brian Sims began his career in the printing industry working for his uncle's reprographics company. Starting at the bottom, Brian worked his way up through production, learning every aspect of the business. Passionate about developing innovative business initiatives, the opportunities Brian sought simply did not exist for him in reprographics at the time, so he left to launch a very successful Internet company. After achieving his goals in that arena, Brian sold the company and returned to reprographics. He invested his heart, soul, and pocketbook into United Reprographics. Excited about the new changes in printing technology, Brian soon realized that there was an opportunity to create higher service standards that could fulfill the unmet needs of reprographic customers across the Pacific Northwest region. Always willing to jump in on the production floor or head out to meet with customers, Brian is actively involved in every aspect of United's business. His goal is to ensure that each employee that operates on behalf of United understands that quality service is the cornerstone of the company's existence.

Michael Barrett - President

Job Titles:
  • President
  • President / Quality Control Measures
A second generation, career-long reprographics professional, Michael Barrett grew up in the industry working alongside his mother and father. He started as a foot messenger at age 15 and moved into a production position at age 17, where he was responsible for operating all of the printing and reprographic equipment during the night shift. After high school, Michael transitioned into bid distribution and eventually worked his way through every aspect of the business. After showing an exceptional aptitude for gaining his customers' loyalty, Michael was promoted to a sales manager position. Dissatisfied with the nonchalant customer service mentality of the national reprographics firm that had acquired his employer at the time, Michael joined forces with Brian Sims as the Director of Sales shortly after the formation of United Reprographics. Building the company over the next seven years, Michael contributed significantly to the annual double-digit growth that United enjoyed as it expanded its services. After serving the reprographics and printing industry for 20 years, Michael was promoted to the position of President here at United. He continues to lead the company's expansion, and is now involved in every department ensuring that the Bend Over Backwards Service Guarantee is deeply instilled in every employee. Michael's positive attitude can be felt in every action he takes. He is a familiar fixture working alongside production staff on the weekend to meet customer deadlines and sees it as an opportunity to invest in staff and customer relationships. He prints and binds with a smile. Unless a task is physically impossible, no client will hear the words, "No, we can't do that," from Michael, which is why United's customers keep coming back for consistent service.
