VALLEY - Key Persons
Carol leads the company as the Chief Operating Officer for 20 years now. She oversees the overall operation and direction of the company and works closely with the rest of the senior management team to ensure that the daily activities of Valley Distributing and Storage Company and CDS Transportation run as smooth as possible.
Conrad has worked at Valley Distributing for 41 years. He oversees the day-to-day operation of the warehouses; including moving personnel and equipment for various projects. He also works closely with the customer service manager to ensure that all customer needs are met and the warehouse personnel are working to meet those needs. Conrad manages much of our transportation company's scheduling for shipments moving from customer to warehouse.
After graduating from G.A.R Memorial High School, he completed Wilkes-Barre Vo-tech graduate classes in Computer Science. To further his professional development, he completed many professional development courses such as CEO Options, STAR Program, Dale Carnegie, New Horizon- Excel I & II.
He began working at Valley Distributing as a laborer in the warehouses and advanced to General Manager. He held various positions such as forklift operator and Supervisor of various Valley warehouses.
Kyle has worked at Valley Distributing for three years. He is responsible for developing new business for Valley and CDS Transportation while growing business with existing accounts. In addition he acts as a liaison between Valley/CDS and customer to assure information is shared to maximize efficiencies.
He earned a BA from Rutgers University and is a member of the Wilkes-Barre, Pa Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program. His role as a member in the Chamber is to serve as an active volunteer who helps cultivate, promote, and maintain a positive relationship between the Chamber, its members, and the community.
Kyle has worked in logistics/transportation for over 25 years. He began his career in logistics focusing on LTL, TL, small parcel and expedited services. For the past 5 years he has been more involved with warehousing, value added services, and the railroad.

Ron has worked at Valley Distributing for 36 years. He is responsible for warehousing and distributing practices used in all of our facilities, developing storage plans, employee development and training, helps manage the operations of our in house transportation company, and manages IT.
He began working at Valley as a laborer in our warehouses and advanced to Operation Manager. He had a variety of roles such as Forklift operator, Supervisor, Building Manager, and Systems Manager.

As Human Resources Manager, Sondra is responsible for implementing HR process/policy and providing senior level HR support in the areas of employee relations, performance management, training and development, hiring and retention, orientation and on-boarding, benefits and compensation, and HR compliance.
