Valley Armature & Electric, Co., Inc. was founded in 1977 by Bobby H. Etchison, K.L. "Larry" Lewis, Kenneth Taylor, and Jack Morris as an industrial electric motor repair, service, and sales company. Larry Lewis became the sole owner in 1998. In 2003, Valley Armature moved to its new and current home in Edinburg, Texas.
