Alexis M. Fertig

Dr. Alexis Fertig is board certified in general adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. Her clinical interests and areas of expertise include eating disorders, child and adolescent mental health, depression, and anxiety. She is also a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Maxine Kane

Dr. Maxine Kane has over 35 years of experience in providing psychological services in diverse settings and across the age spectrum. In addition, she has a strong background in program development and administration. Her practice style combines cognitive behavioral therapy and interpersonal process within a feminist framework. She is a founding partner of Vista Behavioral Health Associates, and while continuing to maintain a small clinical practice, she devotes the majority of her professional time to practice administration and mentoring.

Dr. Paul Frye

Over three decades of practicing as a psychiatric physician, Dr. Paul Frye has developed a partnership approach to treatment planning. Dr. Frye provides information and recommendations, encouraging those in treatment to collaborate in the decisions. His approach to treatment is considered eclectic and medications are prescribed only if deemed to be necessary.

Dr. Sheri Goldstrohm

Dr. Sheri Goldstrohm has over 25 years of experience providing psychological services in diverse settings and across the age spectrum. She has experience in health psychology; crisis management and Critical Incident Stress Management; community mental health; integrated care; death, dying and bereavement; and Intimate Partner Violence (IPV). Dr. Goldstrohm's areas of clinical expertise include women's issues, behavioral pain management, integrated care with a focus on maximizing health and wellness for individuals with chronic health conditions, anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and life transitions. Her practice style incorporates trauma-informed, cognitive behavioral, and interpersonal therapies. In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Goldstrohm has a strong background in program development, supervision, teaching, consultation, and administration. She has been active in professional leadership roles and serves on several multidisciplinary committees and advisory boards. Her experience includes chairing committees, participating in work groups and task forces, and serving on Boards of Directors.

Dr. Taylor Saunders

Dr. Taylor Saunders is a clinical psychologist with experience providing services across the age span of early childhood through adulthood. Dr. Saunders' areas of clinical expertise include treatment of anxiety and depressive disorders, traumatic stress, disruptive behavior, somatic symptom disorders (including functional neurological symptom disorder), medical adherence, as well as adjustment and coping support related to chronic illness or injury. She has experience in pediatric psychology, including physical rehabilitation with patients with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neuromuscular disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions. In addition, she has experience in behavioral pain management and behavioral sleep medicine. Dr. Saunders has functioned as a member of an inpatient behavioral health consultation and liaison team within a pediatric medical setting and also has experience within community mental health. Her practice style includes interpersonal, cognitive behavioral, behavioral, and trauma focused therapies and has a focus on the underlying elements of attachment.

Steve Malawski

Steve Malawski has 25 years' experience working with individuals and families. He specializes in the treatment of children and adolescents with a variety of issues/concerns. He has a subspecialty in adoption issues, both from the parent and child point of view. He utilizes cognitive behavioral therapy as well as other cognitive approaches with a solution-focused point of view.
