Ross & MaryAnn Willoughby purchased the store in 1979 and promptly expanded to a new building at 403 South 6th St. The business was primarily construction equipment, homeowner tools, and automotive equipment. Into the late 1980's & 1990's VVR grew with the new special event industry, adding tables & chairs and misc wedding supplies. Inventory continued to expand until the 6th Street building was no longer able to accommodate both..
