Gunny Campbell

Gunny Campbell enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2000 as a Forward Observer in an Artillery unit. Within 27 months, Gunny was meritoriously promoted through the ranks to Sergeant while receiving numerous honors such as 3rd Marine Division's Marine of the Quarter and 3rd Marines Marine of the Year. In 2004, Gunny Campbell made a career change within the Marines and was selected to join a specialized Intel group within the Marine Corps. Selected for promotion to the rank of Gunnery Sergeant in 2008, Gunny Campbell consistently gained the confidence of senior enlisted and commanders within CENTCOM, SOCOM, SOCCENT, DIA and other agencies around the world. Gunny Campbell served 2 combat tours in Fallujah, Iraq with 3/1, 3/4, 1/6 and 2/6 from 2004 - 2006 to include Operation Al Fajr (Phantom Fury). While in his first deployment, Gunny Campbell sustained injuries from a subsurface landmine detonating in southeast Fallujah. While not realizing the severity of the injuries from the blast till 3 years later, he was retired from the Marine Corps at the end of 2010. Gunny Campbell has a Baccalaureate degree from the University of Tampa with a focus on international business, management and graphic design. Gunny has over 15 years of graphic design knowledge and he was also the recipient of the Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps writing award and distinguished graduate at the Staff Non-commissioned Officers Academy. Other awards include, Purple Heart, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal w/ Valor, Navy Achievement Medal, Combat Action.
