Primary areas of knowledge and expertise include: civil society in Cambodia; capacity development; resource mobilization, HR, governance, D&D and sub-national administrations, strategic planning, research and evaluations; gender and violence against women and children, leadership, especially women's leadership and empowerment.

Carole Williams

Carole holds a degree in Finance & Accounting from the UK and for the first 14 years of her career worked in financial management in the higher education sector, in retail and with a charity focused around the issue of UK poverty. This inspired her to take the opportunity to move to Cambodia nearly 20 years ago with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), to support local colleagues in financial, administrative and management systems. Carole has continued to work in Cambodia and has worked with various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in project, financial and administrative management, planning, institutional review, planning and development, monitoring & evaluation and research and capacity building & mentoring. This has given her wide knowledge and experience in the education, social services and community development sectors, working with a range of stakeholders, from grassroots to Ministry level in both urban and rural areas across the country.
