Organizational and capacity development professional with more than 20 years' experience of working in the UK charity and Cambodian development sectors. Experienced in designing and delivering training/workshops and providing coaching and mentoring to management level staff and small groups to reach their goals and highest potential. Primary areas of knowledge and expertise include: civil society in Cambodia; capacity development; resource mobilization, HR, governance, D&D and sub-national administrations, strategic planning, research and evaluations; gender and violence against women and children, leadership, especially women's leadership and empowerment.
Carole holds a degree in Finance & Accounting from the UK and for the first 14 years of her career worked in financial management in the higher education sector, in retail and with a charity focused around the issue of UK poverty. This inspired her to take the opportunity to move to Cambodia nearly 20 years ago with Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO), to support local colleagues in financial, administrative and management systems. Carole has continued to work in Cambodia and has worked with various non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in project, financial and administrative management, planning, institutional review, planning and development, monitoring & evaluation and research and capacity building & mentoring. This has given her wide knowledge and experience in the education, social services and community development sectors, working with a range of stakeholders, from grassroots to Ministry level in both urban and rural areas across the country.
Jenny Pearson was VBNK's founding Director and returned to the organisation in late 2016. She has 23 years experience of facilitating development processes in Cambodia and the region, and is recognised internationally as a leading capacity development practitioner. She teaches an online course on capacity development is the author of several relevant works.

Mr. Mao Lan has over 15 years of project management and business experience, 8 years of which were at senior management level. He has expertise in the implementation of new technological solutions to improve customer service and increase productivity, and using big data to interpret findings in a scientific manner. He also has broad experience in managing public-private partnership projects, working with both government ministries and major donors. Through his work Mao has also developed strong media links with local and international outlets in his media advocacy efforts.
Russell is a development professional with 17 years' experience at the Representative (Director) level, mainly in Cambodia. He has extensive experience in SE Asia in program management, fund-raising, conflict analysis, peace-building, NGO network building, and coaching of local counterparts. He now works as a consultant to NGOs in Cambodia and SE Asia. He has a Master's degree in International and Community Development from Australia's Deakin University.

Chantha's current responsibilities include providing consultancy services to strengthen the outcome and impact practice of NGOs. In addition, she is routinely called upon to design and deliver customized training and facilitation for project management, project monitoring and other related topics.
