Amy is the mother of a beautiful little girl and the wife of a psychiatric social worker who teaches at a local university, so her life is very full! She finds relaxation in cooking, hiking, and spending time with her family and friends, but when she needs a rush of adrenaline, she jumps right into another favorite hobby: bootcamp class. Amy also volunteers on the board at Frontline Service, a non-profit community behavioral health organization that aims to end homelessness, prevent suicide, resolve behavioral crises, and overcome trauma.

Cameron is a proud graduate of Temple University's Beasley School of Law - class of 2020. He also received his Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Temple, crediting the school for fostering his keen interest in the law. Outside of the office, one can find Cameron hitting the ski slopes in the winter or the beach in the summer. He's also an avid sports fan, dedicating his loyalty to the Philadelphia Eagles as well as the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers (unfortunately) due to being raised in a small farm town in Nebraska.

Casey is the office managing attorney for the firm's Chicago office, where she focuses on real estate and consumer collections - including repossessions, seizure and impound, emergency replevin, and auto title issues. Working directly with vice presidents of collections, collections supervisors, and foreclosure specialists, she enjoys educating her clients on the law and its applicability to their day-to-day work. She recently assisted a client that was expanding business into the state of Illinois, who had not anticipated the differences in the state's unique laws. After consulting with Casey, they were able to develop new processes and procedures to help keep their new operations in compliance.

As a professional connector of problems and solutions, Chris is known for translating big ideas into action.
Strong relationships are key to developing long-term customer loyalty, and Chris demonstrates his ability to build and maintain them on a daily basis. As a trusted advisor, he seeks to uncover the unique challenges his clients face, so he can in turn offer relevant and timely solutions. As the national director of business development, Chris is responsible for overseeing all of the firm's sales channels, developing the marketing strategies, providing guidance to the business development team, and coordinating all sales and marketing efforts with firm management to collectively achieve growth and profitability goals.
Chris has an impressive history of collections and call center industry experience. He built and launched two successful collection agency entities which he operated for nearly 18 years before they were sold in 2009. Now, with 30 years of industry experience under his belt, he is in a unique position to identify with the needs of his clients.
Chris enjoys serving as a mentor to other associates in the firm, and in the industry. He sincerely cares about the people he works with - client facing or otherwise - and believes that trust in any relationship is always paramount. With his inquisitive mindset, he constantly seeks to learn about others and what really makes them "tick". He can start a conversation with anyone about anything, but his favorite topics include sports, heavy on the Cleveland teams.
Chris resides in Aurora, Ohio with his wife and four children: three sons and one daughter. He is incredibly active in his community and has coached a number of youth teams over the last several years - from football, baseball, basketball, to soccer. He is also a "bigtime" music guy and genuinely enjoys all different types of genres. Those who know Chris well would probably not be surprised to learn that he hosted his own radio show in college. Every once in a while, he still likes to break out his vinyl.

If there was ever a name that was synonymous with credit unions, it would be Dawn Pagon.
Dawn has been the primary contact for hundreds of the firm's credit union clients - in Ohio and throughout the U.S. - for 25 years. Working closely with boards of directors, vice presidents, CEOs, and collections staff, she helps credit unions evaluate their current recovery strategies, and then works to find them effective solutions that meet their business objectives.
One of the many reasons why Dawn's insight is universally valued is because of her first-hand knowledge in managing collection recovery programs for credit unions. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as an assistant manager of a credit union, and then later as a collection manager. This combination of experience allows Dawn to understand the unique challenges that this sector of the financial services industry faces, which is key to developing customized recovery plans.
Dawn coordinates with many of the firm's attorneys and professional staff to deliver a wide variety of solutions that include general counsel services, asset recovery, litigation, bankruptcy recovery, and real estate default. She ensures new clients experience a smooth onboarding process, and assists in the resolution of any operational inquiries that may arise.
When Dawn is not tending to her credit union clients, she can usually be found at home spending time with her family.
Outside of the office, Denise is a mother of two - she enjoys watching her son play baseball and spending quality time with her daughter. She also loves nearly all genres of movies (Star Wars being one of her favorites).

Duane concentrates on protecting the firm, our clients - and their consumers - from any undue risk.
As business information officer/director of information technology, Duane administers all of the firm's technology and cyber security initiatives, ensuring they align to the business objectives established by the management committee. This includes the firm's robust Incident Response, Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery Plans, and technology improvement initiatives, which detail processes for the detection, reporting, and resolution of any event that poses a threat to the organization's operations or security.
Bringing nearly 35 years of experience to his role, Duane employs continuous improvement and change management processes to promote adherence to industry best practices while advancing the firm's processing capabilities. He implements necessary updates promptly and effectively, so any impact to the firm's operations are minimized. He serves on the information security committee, which is responsible for conducting a regular review of all security policies and procedures, as well as the monitoring and logging of all security information and resources.

As director of legal collections, Gary Marszal helps in the planning, directing, and communication of all strategic and tactical aspects of the firm's collections.
Gary collaborates across departments on various initiatives and projects to improve client and customer service firm-wide. He brings nearly 40 years of experience to the team and attributes his success to having a strong work ethic and problem-solving skills. Having held many roles at Weltman, tenure has provided a strong foundation to best understand and approach the work. Gary's goals are to drive performance at the highest level while remaining compliant to all regulatory and client standards.
Within the consumer collection unit, Gary's clients are focused on compliance and performance. His role is a bridge between the client's needs and the firm's resources needed to support those needs. Clients have described him as passionate, honest, and assiduous.
In his spare time, Gary enjoys being outdoors, boating on Lake Erie, fishing, hunting, hiking, gardening, and planting trees.

Heather focuses on the effective management of bankruptcy portfolios - and identifying any areas of risk.
Working in the collections industry for over 20 years, Heather is responsible for the operations of the firm's bankruptcy department, in conjunction with the focus area leader. On a daily basis, she offers her mentorship through effective management of the department's professional (non-attorney) staff. Her goal is to not only ensure that matters are being handled timely and accurately, but to develop continuous process improvements that lead to effective client management.
Serving a wide variety of industries, Heather typically coordinates with operations and collections managers, loan and default coordinators, directors, and vice presidents who are faced with sometimes large volumes of bankruptcy accounts on a daily and weekly basis. Often under pressure to protect their organization's interests - while keeping costs down - they count on her to augment their in-house services by providing cost-effective alternatives.
A few years back, one of the firm's largest clients approached Heather to conduct a risk assessment of their entire bankruptcy operation. They had been struggling to meet stringent filing deadlines, which was costing them thousands of dollars annually. After an onsite visit and a thorough review of their policies and procedures, Heather was able to identify a significant gap in their redaction procedures for bankruptcy pleadings filed with the court. As a direct result of her findings, the firm was awarded a large-scale redaction project that produced a significant amount of revenue. Now referred to as the Bankruptcy Risk Assessment Program, this quality-control process has since been extended to additional clients of the firm.
Heather serves on the firm's diversity and inclusion committee and marketing committee. Away from the office, she spends time with her family, is an active member of her church, and volunteers in the community and with her children's school. Heather is a catechist, teaches PSR, and is on her city's diversity, equity, and inclusion coalition. She has been a classically trained violinist since she was eight years old, and is also a published poet!
