West Australian Opera was established in 1967 and has been Western Australia's full-time, professional opera company for over 50 years... Music offers an arena where students can truly be themselves, where they are allowed to exist in their own skin and express themselves, free of judgement or limitation. At West Australian Opera, a core part of our mission is to create opportunities for young people to be able to explore their imagination and creative capabilities in safe and inclusive environments. We seek to introduce them to the wonderful world of Opera through our productions as well as through our specialised programs and workshops.
