Andrew Wachler, the principal of Wachler & Associates, P.C., along with many of our other health law attorneys, is regularly asked to present at seminars across the country to educate health care providers and other health law attorneys on various health law issues. ANDREW B. WACHLER is the principal of WACHLER & ASSOCIATES, P.C. Mr. Wachler has been practicing healthcare law for over 25 years. He counsels healthcare providers and organizations nationwide in a variety of healthcare legal matters. In addition, he writes and speaks nationally to professional organizations and other entities on healthcare law topics such as Medicare appeals, Stark and fraud and abuse, HIPAA, and other topics. Mr. Wachler graduated Cum Laude from the University of Michigan and was the recipient of the William J. Branstrom Award. He graduated Cum Laude from Wayne State University Law School. Mr. Wachler is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association and American Bar Association (Health Law Section). He sits on the Editorial Board of the ABA Health Law Section publication The Health Lawyer, Fraud and Abuse Section, and has servied as the Vice Chair of the ABA Health Law Section Payment and Reimbursement Interest Group and Vice Chair of the ABA Health Law Section Healthcare Policy Task Force. Mr. Wachler is currently the Vice Chair of the ABA Health Law Section Health Law and Policy Coordinating Committee. Mr. Wachler is a member of the Michigan Bar Association and the Oakland County Bar Association. Mr. Wachler is consistently named to lists of legal industry leaders including, but not limited to, Super Lawyers, U.S. News Best Lawyers in America, and DBusiness Magazine's Top Lawyers in Metro Detroit. In 2017, Mr. Wachler was honored as a Fellow of the Michigan Bar Association Heath Care Law Section.

Cheryl Sawicki is the Director of Operations at Wachler & Associates, P.C. Ms. Sawicki is responsible for various functional areas of the business including finance, marketing, human resources and the day-to-day operations of the firm. Prior to joining Wachler & Associates, Ms. Sawicki's professional experience included time as a management consultant in the San Francisco office of Bain & Company. While at Bain, Sawicki worked with Fortune 100 high-tech and consumer product companies on corporate strategy issues, infrastructure improvements and process redesign. She was also involved in business development for the firm. Before Bain, Ms. Sawicki helped pharmaceutical and biotech companies with sales force sizing and structure issues, sales strategy, and compensation planning while a senior consultant with ZS Associates in Evanston, Il and Menlo Park, CA. Ms. Sawicki holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan, School of Business Administration, and a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business.

Dustin T. Wachler

Dustin T. Wachler is an attorney at Wachler & Associates, P.C. Dustin practices in all areas of healthcare law. He devotes a substantial portion of his practice to transactional, regulatory, and Fraud & Abuse matters, including counseling healthcare providers nationwide regarding compliance with the federal Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark law, and other federal and state fraud and abuse laws.
