WCMHA is an administrative office that can provide information on local service providers and resources... In partnership with the Washington County Health Department, the WCMHA is responsible for planning, developing & monitoring the local system of publicly funded behavioral health services... Since 1990, the Washington County Mental Health Authority has been responsible for planning, developing and monitoring mental health services in Washington County to improve the quality of life for the citizens with mental illness. WCMHA has also been an advocate for consumers at the state and local levels and has been a resource for providers and the general public.
