Christine Allison

Christine has worked in the mental health field since 2000. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Nationally Certified Counselor with Master's degrees in both Clinical Counseling and Sociology. In her private practice she specializes in depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues. Christine's therapeutic approach is grounded in mindfulness-based cognitive behavior therapies, especially Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and she offers EMDR for trauma treatment. Christine's professional background includes working as a Crisis Clinician with Colorado Crisis Services; training mental health consumers in wellness, leadership and advocacy through Mental Health America of Colorado; and serving as Program Director of WINGS Foundation which provides support groups for adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse. Christine has worked at Wellness Treatment Center since 2013 and currently fills in for groups. Louis L. Bruno

Dr. Louis Bruno has been the Medical Director of three mental health centers including the Wellness Treatment Center. The Wellness Treatment Center represents the most recent effort by Dr. Bruno and his staff to develop more effective treatment modalities for people whose lives have been affected by serious mental health issues. This program brings together some of the most well-established treatment tools along with an integrated wellness program allowing clients to move from disharmony and crisis to happier, healthier lives. Dr. Bruno is also Medical Director of Community Care Corporation, a licensed community mental health clinic in the state of Colorado since 1980. Under his direction, Community CareCorporation has become highly respected both locally and nationally in the treatment of severe and persistent mental illness, including people who are dually diagnosed. Utilizing a unique community support treatment model integrated with a wellness philosophy, he has been very successful helping people learn to lead a normalized and productive life. After devoting much of his career to this effort, Dr. Bruno has presented at many national conferences and training sessions to teach his treatment approaches and philosophy. Dr. Bruno is accessible at our Englewood office, which is just south of Denver, Colorado.

Megan Riebe Reay

Megan Riebe Reay is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner/Licensed Professional Counselor practicing in Nebraska and Colorado. She has worked in the mental health field since 2007, when she graduated from the University of Nebraska, Omaha, with a Master's Degree in Community Counseling. Megan has provided direct individual and group therapeutic services working with adolescents and adults with major mental health issues, intellectual and developmental delays, and severe behavior problems. She has provided administrative oversight and clinical supervision for several community-based programs, and currently serves as Vice President of Omni Inventive Care in Omaha. Megan has been active in several initiatives for the development of community-based programs, and remains knowledgeable in public and private insurance programs, as well as state systems. She frequently collaborates with these systems in developing specialized programs for some of the most complex populations, in order to maintain individuals in the community setting. Megan is trained in several evidence-based practice models and works to promote education of these models to practitioners across the nation. Megan is a member of the American Counseling Association and is a Nationally Certified Counselor with the National Board of Professional Counselors.

Meghann Thompson

Meghann Thompson is the Program Director of the Wellness Treatment Center. She has been with the Wellness Treatment Center since 2019. Meghann has been working in the medical field since 2005. She has a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Administration (BSHCA) from DeVry University and is also a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) through the AAPC. Meghann has managed several different clinics in different specialties over the years including mental health, radiation oncology, ophthalmology, and physiatry. Meghann has extensive knowledge regarding all aspects of managing a medical office and extensive knowledge and experience in medical billing. Meghann also has experience as a pharmacy technician and took a psychopharmacology training to learn more about psychiatric medications. In her free time, Meghann enjoys spending time with her Boxer Remington, exercising, spending time in the mountains, traveling, and spending time with friends, and loved ones.

Rene Guerette

Rene Guerette, LCSW graduated from the Smith College School of Social Work in 2004. She has been a practicing psychotherapist since then, having gained extensive experience and training in the treatment of anxiety, depression, trauma, divorce, parenting issues, adoption, LGBT issues, postpartum related challenges and more. In addition to providing psychotherapy in her private practice in Lakewood, Rene is an adjunct faculty member at Denver University's School of Social Work, providing field instruction to Master's of Social Work Students. Rene teaches our values based relapse prevention group as well as our next steps group. Rene grew up on the East Coast, but an internship at the University of Colorado at Boulder brought her to Colorado. The healthy and active, outdoor lifestyle convinced her to stay. She has lived in Colorado for 17 years.

Robin Ruscio

Robin Ruscio is a Licensed Professional Counselor. He specializes in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, and Bipolar Disorder using mindfulness-based therapy, particularly with teens, young adult, and men. Robin has his own private practice in Centennial called Mindful Counseling Solutions. Robin has been in counseling since 2000. Robin leads The Wellness Treatment Center's Treatment Planning group and Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention group. He has been at The Wellness Treatment since 2015. Robin approaches counseling with unconditional positive regard for his clients and a strong conviction that change is possible for everyone. Robin is steeped in humanistic and existential psychotherapy, and primarily uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) when working with clients. He is passionate about the Enneagram and its path to deep change. Robin is also a mindfulness instructor and his scientific, secular, systematic approach to mindfulness is influenced by his teacher, mediation master Shinzen Young, with whom he has studied for 15 years.
