The World-Education-Grid is conceived as an Education Super-System/Superhighway providing the global education infrastructure for the 21st Century. As a unifying force for education, it will support global, national, and grassroots education initiatives and reform, and, additionally, will provide the infrastructure to support education research and the takeup of successful innovation... Globally, it is intended to support the efficient deployment of worldwide education initiatives spawned, for example, by the World Bank, the United Nations, the Millennium Project, and other international education initiatives and organizations;
