AUGUSTYNIAK INSURANCE - Key Persons

Mike Augustyniak is the middle of 9 children, and grew up in rural Indiana. He fell in love with football during middle school. Football shaped his strong work ethic, competitive spirit, and team focus during high school. He walked on-- to what he calls "a tackling dummy position" - with Purdue University Football. But his work ethic payed off, and quickly earned a scholarship and became the team's starting Running back. After the Boilermakers, the NFL did not draft him. So he walked-on to the NY Jets team tryouts. Again, he beat the odds, and earned the starting running back position with the Jets. Mike was fortunate to play for 4 seasons before sustaining a career ending knee injury. After the NFL, Mike changed careers to insurance. For 15 years, he was a top-tier award-winning Agency Sales Manager for Allstate Insurance and Nationwide Insurance in Florida. Outside of work, Mike loves watching College Football, playing Golf, and playing with the Westies - Max and Maggie.
