Dr. Westmoreland is a native of Columbus, Mississippi. He earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He then served in the United States Navy as an Under Sea Medical Officer before completing his residency in Dermatology at UAB. He is also a certified diplomat of the American Board of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, a fellow of the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons, a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery, a member of the American Medical Association, and a member of the Prairie Medical Society. He and his wife, Kim, have three children: Caleb, Carrie and Cason. They enjoy spending most of their free time outdoors golfing, fishing, and hunting. Dr. Westmoreland also serves in several areas in his local church. Dermatologist Dr. Terry Westmoreland founded the practice in 1998. His vision was for a comprehensive general and surgical dermatology practice.
