Brooke Finlay

Brooke Finlay is a Member in Good Standing of the Immigration Consultants of Canada Regulatory Council (RCIC Membership Number # 514337). Brooke completed the Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures (CILPP) at the University of British Columbia's (UBC) Centre for Intercultural Communication in 2015. She was UBC's top CILPP graduate that year, earning the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants' award for Academic Excellence. She holds a B.A.Hons. in Political Science and graduated with distinction from Queen's University. Brooke specializes in Federal and Provincial skilled worker categories, entrepreneur and start-up business classes, spousal sponsorship, LMIA applications and all categories of temporary residence (work, study and visit). She is dedicated to meeting Whistler Immigration client's needs, delivering superior customer service backed by comprehensive knowledge of immigration law and policy. Prior to joining Whistler Immigration, Brooke took part in the Projects Abroad Human Rights Office in South Africa. She assisted asylum seekers in submitting their refugee claims and navigating government processes while ensuring that their rights were being upheld.

Caitlin Thomas

Caitlin graduated from Monash University in Australia where she received a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours). She practiced as a lawyer specializing in personal injury litigation in Melbourne, Australia for over two years before embarking on a worldwide travel adventure that saw her eventually settle in Whistler and gain Permanent Residence in Canada. Having navigated the immigration process herself from start to finish, Caitlin understands the emotional challenges faced by clients and is committed to ensuring clients' applications receive the highest level of care and attention to detail to ensure the strongest likelihood of success. Caitlin completed the Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures at the University of British Columbia in September 2017 and became licensed to practice as a Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant (R530663) in October 2018.

Diana Caputo

Diana has traveled to over 20 countries on three continents, lived in Germany, immigrated to Switzerland, and moved to Canada after a planned worldwide travel adventure started in Whistler. This led her to attend a two-year Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Adventure Tourism at Thomson Rivers University in Kamloops to support her stay in Canada. Diana gained Canadian immigration knowledge by successfully navigating her Permanent Residence immigration process herself. Diana loves helping people save valued time to focus on more important matters by providing the most professional and efficient procedures and tools. With over a decade of professional experience in consulting, IT, business and data analysis, business intelligence and business development, Diana is strongly committed to professional and client service excellence. She gained her experience through working for big international companies and small businesses in Europe and Canada. She obtained a university degree in Business Administration with major in IT and marketing in Germany and a MSc in Business Information Systems in Switzerland that she followed as part-time study program during her full-time managerial role for a world's leading professional services firm. After work, Diana is a passionate mountain biker and outdoor enthusiast. She loves exploring - by bike, on foot or on water, travelling, and learning about other cultures. Diana came to Canada to enjoy the amazing biking trails, the widespread nature of B.C. and the warm, friendly, and welcoming Canadian culture.

Lateefat Fashugba

Growing up in Nigeria, Lateefat was always curious about the rest of the world. With the culmination of her curiosity for the world and her excitement for change and learning, she decided to move to Canada to further her education. Since her arrival to Canada, Lateefat has studied and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Management from the University of Ottawa. During this time, she volunteered as a mentor for exchange students at the University; assisting them with settling into the city and being familiar with their new environment. She also completed a semester, at Thammasat University in Bangkok, Thailand. This gave her the opportunity to travel and experience the cultures of some other parts of South-East Asia. The experience exposed her to a great deal of knowledge in diversity, cultural management and immigration challenges. Her enthusiasm for immigration began to develop during her travels in South East Asia, but this was even further developed after her return to Canada when she was faced with the question of how to permanently make this her home. During this pursuit, she came across a lot of challenges that significantly contributed to her understanding of the level of attention required in Canadian immigration. All of these and her desire to help simplify the process for others, led to her decision to implement steps to ensure her suitability for professional support in the Immigration Industry. This was achieved when she completed the Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies and Procedures with the University of British Columbia. In addition to learning some Thai language while living in Thailand, Lateefat has also maintained her knowledge of some Nigerian Languages, including Pidgin English and Yoruba. During her spare time, you may find Lateefat improving her beginner level Spanish, enjoying the nature that the sea to sky region has to offer or visiting new countries to broaden her knowledge of the world and to enjoy new cultures.

Marie Malkrabová

Marie grew up in a small ski town in the Czech Republic. She moved to Prague for her university studies and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in International Business at the University of Economics in Prague and a Master's Degree in Business and Marketing at the University of Finance and Administration. Marie has many years of experience in Administration and Trade Marketing, she was working continuously on her professional resume during her university studies. She worked as a Casting Assistant for a boutique casting agency, she also assisted the financial department of the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic during busy periods and then she was hired by a multinational FMCG company, where she started as an Administrative Support and was promoted to Category Activation Expert. She also spent some time in Braunschweig, Germany where she was able to participate in the Internship program at Volkswagen AG. Marie volunteered for many years at a Children's sanatorium and was assisting her father, who was managing this institution. Marie always dreamt about moving to Canada where she already spent summer holidays as a kid, visiting her older brother. Her love for mountains and passion for skiing brought her to Whistler in 2016 where she found her second home. Marie went through different immigration programs herself and finally became permanent resident of Canada in 2019. She understands how stressful immigration processes can be and that is one of the reasons she acknowledges our clients' needs and the importance of punctuality and excellent customer service.
