Brooks Dame Graduated from Brigham Young University in Spanish with a minor in Business. He later graduated from Thunderbird with a Master degree in International Business specializing in marketing.
Brooks is the VP of Doors at Woodgrain Millwork the company that his grandfather started 70 years ago. He sits on the board of Woodgrain and is also responsible for operations in Chile where the company has a sawmill, reman plant, door plant, and over 1100 associates.
Brooks founded and after 12 years of operations sold Proof Eyewear, an Eco-friendly line of eyewear that presented on ABC's Shark Tank. The company gives a portion of its profits to the Aravind Eye Clinic in India and other non-profit organizations.
Brooks has shot and produced 2 documentary films related to poverty in developing nations. "Que Vivan los Pepenadores" "Long Live the Trash Sifters" was an award-winning film that was screened at a handful of film festivals.
