In 1976, Al Weycer and Richard Kaplan formed a 2-lawyer office in Houston, Texas. Their goal was to provide quality legal services to a broad array of local clients, mostly in the real estate and corporate areas, and to develop and maintain long-term relationships. Five years later, Sandy Cohen was hired as Al's and Richard's first associate. In 1985, Joe Pulaski & Gordon Zuber joined the firm as named partners and the firm became known as Weycer, Kaplan, Pulaski & Zuber, P.C.
