Having practiced law since 1991 and family law for the vast majority of that time, I quickly came to believe that there had to be a better way for parties to terminate their marriage than through litigation. When I discovered the collaborative family law process in 2002, I found a better way. The collaborative family law process takes a team approach in the transition of terminating a marriage, with or without children. However, my goals in every case, whether collaborative family law or otherwise, are (1) to provide my clients with the information they need to make informed decisions and (2) to guide them through the process as efficiently as possible.
